Having been a student for a year, I can say that there have definitely been some great transformations that have happened that have helped me get to where I am today. In The Pleasure Course in November 2020, this dynamic love duo totally helped me to LEVEL UP my beliefs about intimacy in romantic partnerships. Hmm. I don't quite know where to start. I did this course a while back and finally felt called to say something. I recommend that you also read the other 1-2 star reviews for an even fuller picture of what went wrong, and recognize too that many of the 5 star reviews below are part of their huge staff.
Overall: The unnecessarily huge price tag aside, I felt like it was a waste of three days. It felt gimmicky. It was certainly helpful for individuals who have never been in a long term relationship or a healthy relationship, but I do not recommend to the mindful 20/30somethings living in SF

Erwan and Alicia have played a major role in helping me to grow and learn more about myself, my relationship blueprint, and the way my triggers show up in my relationships (both romantic and non-romantic). I'm so glad that Erwan and Alicia started the Erwan Davon Teachings. I took the Pleasure Course having no clue what to expect and fully open to new experiences. They made the environment feel really safe and made sure everyone felt welcomed and heard. I watched multiple people transform in one weekend. I signed up for the Pleasure Course not having any expectations. I had been single for the past year and thought the course could help me transition back into the dating game.
I took the 'Intro to the Pleasure Course' in December.
This review is based on my own experiences. I found the teachings on the whole to be pretty basic, for someone like me who has been to an Ashram and taken Yoga Teacher qualifications I found the spiritual portion (Day1) to pretty superficial and lacking in real substance. Now, I can see how for someone 'new' to spirituality this might be sufficient

My boyfriend and I attended EDT's The Pleasure Course in November of last year. The leaders are funny, engaging, and supportive. The people in the community are kind and open hearted.
I've found lessons taught in EDT are practical and easy to implement. I was surprised at how simple and effective some of the communication techniques are--communication cycle, for example.
Through implementing the teachings and having deeper conversations, my boyfriend and I have grown closer and have a newfound appreciation for growing together in a relationship.
