I have been renting from AIM for almost a year now and have found their services and staff to be extremely helpful and fast. When my HVAC unit stopped working in the middle of summer, I was able to put in a maintenance request on the portal, and within a day I was notified that an HVAC company was scheduled to come out that same week. The HVAC tech came out and fixed the issue within the hour. AIM followed up and I told them that everything is working great and appreciated the follow-up message.

Treat tenants like humans, don’t go back on your word , shady. Regret ever renting a commercial space with AIM. With definitely never recommend them in the future .. unfortunately I am not stuck with them for 4 years ! $1,500 dollars to amend a current lease for outdoor seating that was previously placed outside by previous tenant for 2 years and never was there a problem . Lease does not clearly state I cannot have furniture outside.

Terrible communication, went months without answering our emails or phone calls about time sensitive lease information.
New staff member helped us every time when we finally got a response as the past ones had quit or never answered us to this day.
Charged insane fees for things they never communicated correctly.
Changed the price on our apartment and threatening us with fines if we don’t renew the lease.

Not very prompt on following through with maintenance requests. The president seemed a bit condescending and rude on the phone.
I was asked to post an update to my review and with confidence I can say this company deserves a 1 star. They mention in the review from 5 months ago that they were able to promptly deal with our problem. Apparently promptly means us having a malfunctioning HVAC system without any real maintenance for almost a month. It took several calls and follow ups to get anyone to even come out and check the system. AIM was always willing to give an excuse rather than be proactive

Kevin, President/Owner, of AIM personally took several hours out of his day to see a property placement go through for us. Additionally, Kevin took the time to explain the process of going through the property to ensure everything is satisfactory before move in & the process should any issues occur as a resident. Thorough management group w/ a solid team of professionals.

AIM has managed our rental property on Hilton Head for many years. They handle all aspects of the process including finding and screening prospective renters, writing the leases, collecting the money, and taking care of repair and maintenance issues. On larger improvement issues, they contact reputable contractors, obtain bids, and manage the construction process.

My wife and I rented from Absolute Island, and our experience was exceptional! Daniel Jackson and the maintenance team were quick to respond and address any of our questions and inquiries. I like that Absolute Island Management offers many different types of homes, and we could choose from the many rental options. The rental allowed pets, which was vital for us, and a clean environment, which is also essential for us too. It is a five-star review for us.

Kevin and Team (calling out Glenn) manage 3 long term properties for us - their service is outstanding. We started looking for housing in April on the Island as we were expecting to move by June. We researched lots of places and even came down twice with no luck. One day upon searching the web I came across Summer House Condos. After reading about it we decided this was the place. Unfortunately, when we called there were none available. The leasing agent we spoke with was very friendly and asked us to check back daily but, did let us know of an upcoming property within our time frame and budget.
