SHAWARMA SHAQ has its roots established in 1962 in the small town of Bolu, in North West Turkey. S. Hira Singh Mann, the founder of Shawarma Shaq always cherished the dream of brining the taste of Turkish flavours to the western world. He started this venture to serve the authentic shawarma to the people of west.
Cheap and good! We came for a quick bite and enjoyed the meats, flavorful falafel and low prices. The chicken schwarma platter had fresh salad, rice and quarter of a boiled potato and some very tender, mildly spiced chicken. It was I believe $8 for a very nice sized meal. Not a ton of protein, but enough food, for sure.
