Meijer Optical

THE worst optical shop I ever seen. Ordered a cooler month ago still no update, no follow up call. They don’t follow shop timing. Open when they want and close very frequently. Please stay away from route 59 meijer optical.

Margarita was great despite the fact she was running the show alone. Also remembered me by my name this was the first year I came here. She really takes the time with you and gives you her opinion.

A special thank you to Rachel, the Store Manager who not only assisted in the most professional way, but went the extra mile to make sure my order and replacement frames were rushed as well as came into the location the day they arrived and replaced my existing lens herself into the new frames.

We went to this store for my kids eyes glasses. We want something simple and not much out of pocket. The store layout very nice and professional. There are variety of frames to choose and price ranging from reasonable to expensive. There was only one employee present and she tried her best to help our family as fast as she could. She show us multiple options and I tried to tell her that we just don't want to pay much out of pocket. However we ended up to pay out of pocket more than we expected (even through insurance) due to many options. We were happy at the end and willing to come back

Just walked in because I broke my glasses and couldnt see. The manager Erika was so nice and got me in immediately. The dr set me up with contacts, and supplies. Im so happy I can see again!!!

Worker had her daughter running around and was distracted. She was yelling at her. Very unprofessional. Saw her with her kid several times.

When I initially made my appointment, I was a little hesitant on going to a new location for my daughter since it was not her regular eye doctor. The new doctor was very welcoming and made my daughter feel comfortable and aware of new changes to her prescription. He took the time to help her understand why her prescription was changing and things she could do to help herself. After the doctor visit, we met with the manager (Erica) for a new pair of glasses. This is my first time at this optical store. It's located inside Meijer grocery store. It's convenient for many people to have grocery shopping along with eyes exam or glasses pick up. The parking lot is large.
The store is clean and organized. It has large selection for frames and contact lenses. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We arrived at the store 40 minutes before closing time. I got an estimation price for my glasses from both our insurances. However, I found out it is better option for me to have my glasses done at Costco optical or Sam's optical.

Very warm welcoming from the customer service reps. The doctor makes you feel at home. Also helps you understand your vision with glasses or contacts and without. I recommend anyone in the area to go to this location for great service. Will definitely make this a yearly visit.

I had a great experience at Meijer Optical. From the start Tori was wonderful! Scheduling an appointment was easy, they were able to get me in the next day. The actual appointment went smooth. I really appreciate how Tori went above and beyond to make my experience a positive one. She helped me get a great deal on contact lenses. I was very pleased with my experience here.

Can take weeks to get your prescription glasses. Also, it was a little sketchy when they didn't accept my vision insurance because they had their own insurance that was better. I had selected 2 stars for this review, but as I write this I am switching it to a 1 star, as now I'm getting worked up.

The Doctor was very professional and kind. Went in for contacts and Angel was fantastic working with me in figuring out what would be best for me. I highly recommend this location.

Consistently poor service now charging 1 dollar for cheap case. Just lost 4 patients guess that's why the optometrist left. They are not overseen by Meijer just a loose arrangement. Meijer should cancel contract with them.
