Zero clearance wood burning fireplaces are typically installed in a new house or new addition in which you want have all the joys of burning wood, without the expense of building a masonry chimney. These wood burning fireplaces are basically metal boxes with a refractory cement brick on the inside which is designed to mimic the inside of real fireplace.
Both wood inserts and direct-vent gas inserts are great options to help reduce home-heating costs. Wood inserts give off the a tremendous amount of heat when installed into a masonry fireplace. Coupled with the long-standing tradition in New England to have a wood-burning fireplace, a wood insert is great investment for your home.
Add style to your masonry fireplace with a new set of glass doors and vented gas logs. Vented gas logs will give the illusion of real wood burning in your fireplace, without the hassle of cleaning up the mess. Gas logs will not wear away over time, and will burn the same way time and time again. Vented gas logs use the natural draft of your fireplace to exhaust the byproducts of combustion (carbon dioxide and water) outside.

I am so pleased with my entire experience of having my gas insert fireplace repaired! After being told by many local service people that it would be really hard and they would have to get back to me, I called Anderson and got an appointment within the week. Two servicemen showed up this morning and fixed it in just over an hour. They updated me with each step. They replaced a few parts, cleaned a few others, and supplied me with a better remote control. They left the area clean. They wore mask in the house (pandemic) as did I. I can not be happier with my experience! Thank you so much! Shout out

We needed to repair or replace an existing gas fireplace. Jamie was extremely knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process. She spent a lot of time finding appropriate options and getting prices across the spectrum. Ultimately, we decided to replace the 20 year old unit. Jamie’s attention to detail saved us when the installer found a plumbing stack and pipes behind our wall (a big surprise in an unusual location ) . It would have been a disaster had she not made sure to help us select units that were similar in dimension. The installer was on time, neat and friendly. I highly recommend
