At Agap Christian Counseling, we count it a privilege to walk beside every person who comes through the doors. We do the work of professional counseling because every story matters - every life has value and worth. We provide a caring and supportive place to share your story. We want to help people tell their story so they can be rescued from a prison of lies and instead experience joy and living out their unique God-given purpose.

All too often, our broken and sometimes painful experiences cause us to believe a story of lies. Lies such as No one cares. You aren't lovable. You have no worth. Resting, even for an hour and sharing your story with a professional counselor, can help bring clarity and understanding. The journey of counseling can be freeing.
Services
Agap is a Greek word used in the New Testament for unconditional acceptance and love that God has for us. It is an unselfish love, which arises from a keen sense of the value and worth of the one loved. With that in mind, we offer counseling that integrates Biblical truth with psychological principals in the healing process.
Surely God and I had the same "vision" about His will for me and my work for Him. Of course, He would want me to duplicate what I had been doing, and I would simply slip into a similar position here in Charlotte. I never realized what God wanted to reveal to me. One of the things God wanted to teach me was that it was His plan, not my plan that was significant.
For those therapists looking for counseling jobs in Charlotte, Agap offers a competitive compensation and vacation structure for both full and part-time therapists, whether you are a fully-licensed therapist or an associate who is working toward being fully licensed.

In addition to being part of a great organization (and we mean that) and the opportunity to make a difference to those who come to us for help, Agap allows you to focus on what you do best - therapy!Accepted employees are required to be onsite at Agap in the main office in Charlotte on the 1st Tuesday of each month in order to attend mandatory staff meetings and group supervision.
To schedule an appointment with a therapist, please call our intake coordinator at 704-849-0144, 9am to 5pm Monday through Thursday or 9am to 2pm on Fridays. If you need to call after hours, you will be forwarded to our voicemail. You may leave your name and telephone number and someone will return your call as soon as possible.
You will need to download both the Client Application and your therapist's disclosure form. Be sure to sign the application (page 2, the HIPAA compliance form (page 4), the fee schedule (page 6) as well as your therapist's disclosure form. We must have a signed disclosure form before you meet with a therapist.
