We provide cat and dog boarding services for pets in Hollywood, FL at Broward Animal Hospital. Dr Bishop and his Staff definitely deserve 5 stars, Best Animal Hospital in town, Super reasonable, very compassionate and down to earth Vet, I like old school doctors. Fantastic customer service, Andy was very attentive and informative. My dog had been battling with Giardia for a long time, off and on different antibiotics prescribed from different clinics and the Giardia never went away. Finally I found Dr Bishop with his expertise in parasitology, was able to cure my beloved fur baby. Thank you!! Dr Bishop and Staff, you guys Rock!!!

I am not a review poster but at this point I have no choice. I hope for better things for Dr Bishop and his practice. I have been going to Broward Animal Hospital for many many years. I'd say we're going on 15 yrs if not more. It is heartbreaking to see what this so called staff has done to this family loved practice. Patti and Milo were AMAZING and so many others there truly loved and cared for their patients and families. I took my 8 y/o dog who had cancer last year. I told him a few times my dog had extreme fatigue all in sudden and can't walk and avoiding any movement a few days and it is extremely unlike him -since it is a boxer.
He insisted he had arthritis and nothing else. I kept telling him arthritis can't start in 3 days and make a dog completely different- it is a progressive disease. (I am a MD). He would not listen and told me about his life story (he 's from CA) BLAH BLAH.
I promise you he had only 3 min palpitation and looking into his ears. No temperature or blood pressure taken. My dog died 5 days

My Cat has severe case of alopecia. tic and flees are his worst nightmare.
I have been coming to this animal hospital for the past 8 years as a loyal customer. Recently my cat was suffering due to tick and flees. So I immediately called to get his medication. It was never issue until this week.
Some Dr. Anthony Fauci Minion picks up the phone and tells me that my cat needs to get vaccinated and to see the doctor before he can give me a $26 pill. A life saving pill at that. With no compassion in his voice he didn't care that my cat was suffering. He wanted me to spend over $200 for a $26 pill

I had to leave 2 messages on an answering machine for someone to call me back. The young man that called was very rude and also gave me wrong information. I specifically asked if they had openings today and he said yes, than after getting more information from me said the next appointment was next week. He also criticized the way I spell my name because apparently the Spanish version of my name is spelled differently. What kind of unprofessional people do you have working here? I just wanted to help a stray cat that needs to be seen. Will never come here.

Let me start off by saying that I like Dr. Bishop. He's a good vet and a nice person. But I will no longer be taking my pets to his office. And here's why:
Dr. Bishop used to have such a nice practice with great support staff. Kind people who were great with the animals (particularly Milo and Patti, I think that was her name). Prices were reasonable, and he didn't nickel and dime you or insist on expensive, excessive tests. However, a new sheriff came to town within the past year, and changed the entire energy of the place. Her name is Scarlett and she is the doctor's wife

I have been taking my pets there for a few years and everyone is very friendly and helpful. Dr Bishop is really nice and he takes great care of my dogs and cat. Their prices for services are reasonable and with an appointment you usually get right in without a long wait. Some vets can be rather cold and curt but Dr Bishop is really kind and eager to answer questions you may have. I highly recommend.

Add me to the list of fans. Dr. Bishop is great and the headliner. Support staff is right there also. These are real caring people and extremely competent. Do yourself and your pet a favor and avoid the VCA and the like profit churning mills and get real, effective, experienced, seasoned treatment.

Enjoyed going to this vet. The staff was very friendly and the prices are reasonable. The doctors/nurses will let you know what type of money you are going to pay before you leave the room which is nice since you won't be surprised by extra costs. The office and wait area is very clean. I will be coming back again.

I been coming here my whole life, I've had many many dogs brought here for anything and everything you can think of...broken legs, to liver failure and having to put my pup down. Check ups, day care, grooming they do it all!

Well I liked this vet at first n love the receptionist Patty. However after a botched surgery on my dog, giving my one cat 5mg of thyroid meds when all he needed was 1mg, and after a very wrong diagnoses on my other cat I am done! I brought my cat for weight loss n not eating n was told he was anemic and prescribed a dose of appetite stimulant mirtazapine. After taking him to hollywood animal hospital I was told he had cancer and the dose of appetite stimulant he was given was overdosing him! He was supposed to get 1/8 tablet every 3days and this vet gave him 1/4 tablet twice a day! Then never
