Dr. Handelsman is board certified as a Diplomate in the specialty of Psychiatry by the American Board Of Psychiatry and Neurology. She is a graduate of Michigan State Osteopathic Medical school and completed her residency training at Michigan State University, and is a former Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Michigan State University.
Dr Handelsman provides comprehensive psychiatric outpatient services for ages 16 thru 50 including psychiatric evaluations and medication management for treatment of mood disorders, anxiety spectrum disorders, psychotic disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and pregnancy related mood disorders.
