As a medical doctor (M.D.) in psychiatry, I specialize in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mental, emotional and behavioral disorders. Using a variety of research methods, treatment options, and working closely with patients I aim to help others get the most out of life.
Many of my treatment options include a form of psychotherapy, including supportive psychotherapy, but there are some cases in which prescription medication is also used.Being an M.D., I have the credentials and experience to prescribe medication to patients when determined necessary. A widely used psychotherapy practice that I specialize in is psychodynamic psychotherapy, otherwise known as insight oriented psychotherapy.
