We work in collaboration with multiple specialties and professions within the community allowing us to focus on providing a holistic experience. At Alpha Psychiatric Services, psychiatric evaluations and medication management are the mental health services available. Services may be provided by a psychiatrist, physician assistant, or nurse practitioner.

Services
Katia attended Old Dominion University for her Masters in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner Degree and George Washington University for her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certificate. She has been a Nurse Practitioner since 2014. She is a Doctor of Nursing Practice. She provides psychiatric evaluations and medication management for all patient populations.
Alpha Psychiatric Services will provide certain controlled substances for patients diagnosed with anxiety and attention deficit disorders. All patients (parents and guardians) will be required to sign a controlled substance contract. Patients may be called in for an unannounced drug screen or pill account at any time during their treatment.
