Big toe joint pain can be due to abnormalities or injuries to any of the structures in the toe, including skin, nerves, bone, blood vessels, and soft tissues. Since our feet are constantly exposed to injury by walking, running, or other athletic activity, and moving around, toe pain is a fairly common symptom.
Ankle pain refers to any type of pain or discomfort in your ankles caused by an injury like a sprain or by a medical condition, like arthritis. The ankle joint is composed of two joints, the true ankle joint, and the subtalar joint. The true ankle joint is composed of three bones, the tibia which forms the medial (inside) portion of the ankle; the fibula which forms the lateral (outside) portion of the ankle; and the talus underneath.
Many people working on their feet all day tend to accept foot pain and fatigue as just another part of life, but the truth is, foot pain is not normal. Since our feet take on a great deal of stress during our normal, daily activities, it is extremely important to take good care of them. The foot consists of 28 bones, 35 joints, 3 arteries, 4 veins, and 5 nerves.
Heel pain can range from mild to disabling-it can occur under the heel or just behind it where the Achilles tendon connects to the heel bone-and sometimes it can affect the side of the heel. Heel pain is a common symptom that has many possible causes. Because it is such a complex structure, your heel can be prone to injury and pain.

Pleasant and helpful staff and Dr Neitzel is very skilled and personable. I'd give her more than the possible five stars if I could. She correctly diagnosed and treated what two other doctors had missed and ended three years of discomfort.

5 stars is putting it lightly! My young daughter came into Dr. Neitzels office yesterday with chatters in her teeth and tears in her eyes after having a pretty traumatic experience with a podiatrist in the past and the removal of ingrown toenails. She was petrified! Dr. Neitzels entire staff was welcoming and so so caring and kind from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. The waiting room met us with calming music and beautiful decor. The office visit was met with Dr. Neitzel's complete care and focus on our daughter ensuring she is comfortable and hearing the needs and concerns of a

I think she is overall one of my favorite doctors that I've had. Super knowledgeable, outgoing and made me feel very comfortable. I had an in office procedure. She talked me through it, and made me feel so calm. Her procedure room was so clean and sterile. If I have any further foot issues, I will definitely be back to see her. Highly recommend her!

If you need foot help I’m telling you Dr. Neitzel and her staff are where you need to be. Heads up this will be a long review but needs to be said! I started having issues with plantar fasciitis and tendinitis back in 2019 and at the direction of my dr. I started seeing a different podiatry group to try and get it healed. I was at that podiatry group for a year and was shuffled thru multiple podiatrist that never spent a lot of time on my case because plantar fasciitis is so common so I was given very little attention and went through meds and very basic physical therapy and too many shots that

Doctor Neitzel is amazing! I went to a different local podiatrist who didn't do much for my plantar fasciitis. When I came to Dr. Neitzel she not only helped get to the root of my pain and find a for sure solution, she took the time to explain why I was experiencing the pain that I was. She cared that I'd find relief. I highly recommend her!
