At Plett Family Optometry, each member of our vision care team is selected by Dr. Lindsay Plett based upon his or her experience, professional demeanor, and dedication to providing personalized care to our optometry patients. Our entire Turlock optometry staff is committed to ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of each and every patient.
In an effort to make you more comfortable when you arrive at our office and to streamline the new patient process, you will be able to complete all the necessary items prior to your first visit. At Plett Family Optometry, we strive to make sure the time we spend with you during your visit is quality time.
At Plett Family Optometry, our goal is promote good eye health and enable you to have the clearest vision possible. We accept several types of vision insurance, cash, checks, and most credit cards. We inform our Turlock patients about exam and treatment costs at the beginning of your appointment. If you require a breakdown of costs, please let us know.
Tonia is our Reception Desk Coordinator and has worked in the optometric field since 2003. During that time she has held a variety of positions in our office. Tonia is married and has two sons, a daughter and a granddaughter. In her spare time she plays softball and enjoys watching her sons play sports.
Dr. Plett and the Plett Family Optometry team take even routine eye exams very seriously. During a yearly or bi-yearly examination, our Turlock patients will receive a patient history review, a series of vision and eye tests, assessments of eye focusing and movement, and an eye health evaluation. Our optometrist will discuss any additional testing that may be required to diagnose an eye disease or condition.

Staff was friendly and timely. Office goes above and beyond to meet your needs. Jacob was exceptional with our 4 year old, definitely can see he has a heart and skill for pediatrics. They were patient, thorough and explained everything in a way we could understand. Plett optometry will be our new family eye doctor!

My mother for the first time had been visited by doctor Lindsey three months ago doctor and staff were good the problem was my mother didn’t know and they didn’t inform her that she can purchase her glasses from some place else. Because of that she got her glasses and from that moment her glasses is in the drawer and even though she paid 160$ she can’t wear them because it’s like this glasses belongs someone else. She gave them back so they can fix it but the same problem and she’s not happy with visiting this office at all.

Staff was extremely accommodating, giving me an appointment on such short notice. The doctor took the time to answer all of my questions. Overall a very pleasant visit. The Doctor is a very intelligent and humble man. If you are in need of an Optometrist you cannot go wrong with Plett Family Optometry.
