A native of Southwest Washington and longtime Vancouver jeweler, Rand Schiltz runs his shop backed with over 30 years of fine jewelry and custom design experience. Together with fellow goldsmith Don Tran, a graduate of San Francisco's Revere Jewelry Academy, Rand delivers high quality on site jewelry design and repair with a one on one experience in a small intimate location in downtown Vancouver.
While working at the jewelry bench over the years, Rand and Don have created thousands of fine jewelry designs and restored many family heirlooms. Rand Jeweler specializes in high quality custom designed jewelry handcrafted in gold and platinum uniquely created working with our customers. Starting with expertly hand carved or computer aided (CAD) wax models, to casting the precious metals, acquiring and setting fine gemstones and diamonds, to complete finish, Don and Rand oversee every step in our onsite shop.
Don and Rand are fine jewelry repair experts. With many years of jewelry bench experience in repair and restoration techniques from old master to new laser welder will be used. Always using high quality repair materials and tools, your jewelry will be guaranteed to go out of our shop finished properly.

I originally found this place because my son was getting married and his brother in-law referred him here. The owner was very knowledgeable and when I found out they custom make most of their stuff I decided to have my wife's 24 year old ring remade and set with her stones. I couldn't have been more happy with the quality and value I received. For our 25th I decided to get her a couple bands. Don helped us design a couple bands and again I was blown away by what they can do and for less than I could have bought an off the shelf pair of bands. This is our jeweler for life!

My Fiancé purposed last week for by birthday. Let me tell ya... He did GOOD! He mentioned to me how helpful the staff were and educated him on picking out the right diamond. I went into the store a couple days after and they were able to size it down a bit right there on the spot. The store is beautiful and they have an incredible selection on quality jewelry. Wonderful experience, I covertly took my wife's engagement ring and had Rand add a bunch of diamonds to the solitaire for our 15th wedding anniversary. Rand is the absolute best! A couple years ago we upgraded my center stone and Rand knew I was looking for something truly special. He researched and sourced several diamonds and brought them in for me to see over the course of a couple appointments. Best customer service yet. Highly recommend this Jeweler!! I came in to have my side prong tightened and Fred Meyer wanted to charge $30 to have the prom tightened and keep it for 3 days while this kind man did it while I waited and did it for free. I wanted to pay him and he wouldn't take my money, he also cleaned it for me! I will be back for all of my future jewelry purchases! I will also send all my friends and family to him also. Rand and Don made me fall in love again...with my old wedding ring. My ring did not fit right, and I did not like it any more, because of the way that another jeweler repaired it years ago. These guys are pros. I brought my wifes engagement ring in for a minor repair and they fixed it on the spot and wouldn't accept any money for the trouble.
Another big box jewelry store wanted $150and would take a couple weeks to get back.

They took payments on the first stone, guided me throughout the process, helped with a plan for the engagement ring and helped me look forward and pre plan the wedding ring. I will never use another jeweler again to do my jewelry care. They are the absolute best. I brought my grandma's ring to them asking them to reset my wedding diamond into it. I felt immediate relief when I saw how much they cared. When I got it back I could not believe how stunning it was. The work was flawless. Their prices are low than most. They put a lot of care into their work and it shows. Then recently, I brought a ring to them that was missing the center stone. They replaced it and it looks better than the day I originally got it! In 2012 I was looking to get some rings re-sized, and a friend recommended Rand Jewelers in downtown Vancouver. I was so impressed with the work and customer service, that when my fiancé and I talked about our engagement/wedding rings a couple of years later, Rand instantly came to mind. They were also ideal because they do custom-designing of rings - they don't have a large inventory to sell, and that was perfect since I hadn't seen any that I liked after some extensive shopping and on-line surfing. For the past year, I haven't been able to wear my wedding set because it no longer fit. We've been discussing replacing it with a new set until my husband suggested I take it to Rand and have it sized so I can wear it temporarily until we replace it. I was told that the prongs were wearing thin and needed much attention in order to keep the diamonds secure.

I called three different jewelers...and the first three all told me the same thing...that they would have to "send it out" for two weeks.
