We start by creating a complete list of all your problems. Then you & I go to work to make what's painful, stop hurting; what's stiff, supple; what's weak, strong. I guide you through the process of changing your injury-causing movements into joint-sparing, quality movement patterns. Check, check and check!.
I teach you the difference between good pain and bad pain so you know when to back off and when to push so you heal faster. Less flare ups and lost days. I also guide you through a unique process so you can identify which of your behaviors are getting in the way of your healing. I help you do the right thing, at the right time, for the right length of time.

It's truly an honor for me to be able to help you get through the injury - dysfunction - pain cycle. I hope to gain your trust by sharing a little about me. I realize it's hard to know who to trust when you're in pain and feeling less than your best. Being injured disrupts your life on many levels - your physical and emotional capacity is diminished while your neediness is greatest.
By allowing me to guide you through the stages of healing and hold you accountable, you can achieve better results, faster. Consistency is key and knowledge is power. Generic information yields generic results. Yes, you could manage your injury on your own in the same way you could learn to swim by reading "how-to" online.
I have several locations throughout the roaring fork valley. Glenwood Springs (up CO Rd 114, the CMC road), and three clubs: Anytime Fitness, TAC and The Roaring Fork Club in Basalt. I may also be able to meet and train with you at your gym. Most of the time the longer the duration since the injury, the more compensations the body has made. in the form of tightness, weakness and altered movements.

Several years ago my Orthopedic doc gave me a short list of recommended Physical Therapists to see for my back problems. I am so glad I picked Caroline to see. She has been my go to PT ever since.
Three reasons (among many) I like her practice are:
1. She is well educated and competent. And, she keeps up to date.
2. She is a one person, stand alone practice. No passing you off to an assistant like they do at the big institutional PT centers. Your whole session is with her.
3. She is a terrific motivator. I'm an 81 year old man with a history of heart and back problems. She has been

Caroline helped through a 6 week period when I was recovering from lower lumbar injury with nerve pain down to my shin. I finally had to get an epidural injection to mitigate the nerves enough to start PT. Caroline took the time to get to know my body; she was patient, methodical and caring through out the process. She carefully got me moving again first with a set of stretches, then she showed me a group of strengthening and mobility exercises which I still use several months later. Caroline is a trained professional as well as a very fit an athlete, and I was impressed and what a great job she
