Older units, but really pleasant staff - both maintenance and management.
Surprisingly quiet community. Seems like mostly young professionals.
Close to all sorts of retail businesses. Not too hilly, right across the street from the lakeshore. Looking forward to being able to get some jogging/biking in during summer.

We’ve loved our time here at Starboard! One of my friends rented through Starboard a few years ago and I fell in love with the community!
Staff is supportive, timely, organized, and friendly. Maintenance requests are processed as fast as they can.
During Covid-19 they have taken every precaution to make this community a comfortable and safe environment. I strongly recommend moving to Starboard!
Another great benefit is living within walking distance from Juanita Beach! Nothing beats morning walks by the water.

My moving in experience was easy and painless. Sara (Community Manager) took very good care of me and made sure the apartment was ready for when I moved in. The apartment sizes are perfect! Very spacious and quiet without any road noise. The best part is I’m just across the street for Lake Washington. Thank you Sara!

Living in Starboard Apartments was fantastic! The apartment met our needs, we had a gorgeous view, and there was always ample parking. The apartment was very comfortable and any maintenance concerns were taken care of promptly. Sara, the manager, was fantastic! She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. When it came time to move out, she even helped coordinate the movers for us. We would strongly recommend Starboard.

Starboard is located in a beautiful neighborhood and the homes are very well kept! It is just across the street from Juanita Beach Park which is perfect for pet owners and beach goers. Sara in the leasing office was friendly, professional and helpful. My husband and I toured their model with Sara and wanted to move in right then and there!

Peggy was incredibly helpful in answering questions on our apartment tour and provided helpful instruction if we wanted to proceed. The apartment complex is very nice, quiet, and close to Juanita Village and Lake Washington. Sara was awesome and helpful in our transition from our previous apartment to Starboard. Very responsive with our questions and documents. Overall, everyone has been super nice and friendly.

In my experience touring at Starboard, I was overjoyed with Manager Sara’s attitude and excitement to find me my new home. Sara was responsive and friendly, she was able to answer all of my questions and even pointed me in the direction of the best parks and eateries in the area. While the staff was amazing, the apartments themselves are beautifully kept, bright and modern. The community is close to all of the excitement that Juanita Beach has to offer and the exceptional service stood out to make an apartment a home.

My experience with Starboard in the short time I have been living here has been great. The leasing manager, Sara Ableman made the process very straight forward and stress free. She is friendly and quick to answer any questions or concerns that have come up between signing the lease and moving in. On top of all that, you can't beat the location of the apartments. They are in walking distance to so many restaurants and Juanita Beach Park.

My least favorite place I've live, while the model home and decorations are super cute and they did a great job on the remodel, the walls are paper thin (read expensive heating bills, hearing every foot step from your neighbors, and word for word conversations when people walk) and the showers are in the middle of the apartment units, with poor ventilation for the water (tried to add heat lightbulbs) but it is moldy on the inside of the walls and in the structure. I was literally woken up in the middle of the night every time my neighbors above me got up. On a side note, the location is fun

Couldn't have been happier, very glad I found this place. I'm moving out because I want to try out the whole Seattle downtown experience, but I have no complaints about living here.
Place is clean, neighbors are friendly, and the Leasing Office's community managers are always great, and know people on a first name basis. Ivan, the maintenance manager, also does a great job with keeping the place in great working condition.

I just moved to Washington from the Chicago area and when I saw the model at Starboard it spoke to me. Not only did I love what they were doing to renovate the apartments but Mikki, the property manager, and Tia, the leasing agent, were amazing and helped make my decision to move to Starboard.
My apartment is beautiful... new wood floors, modern kitchen cabinets and new appliances. We are in a very beautiful part of Juanita Bay, across from the beach and very centrally located to an area with restaurants, bars, businesses and Walgreens.

Convenient, quiet, and peaceful neighborhood. I got to rent the newly renovated unit and let me tell you it's just beyond beautiful. The design was well thought out. Hardwood floor in the living room, you can appreciate this if you have pets! The staff at the leasing office is just..well two words: AH-mazing. Mikki and Katie were really communicative and made the entire process so easy. Tia is super sweet and funny. When I moved into my apartment back in December 2014 it was still under the old ownership of Village at Juanita Beach. Since then the property has sold, remodeling has been in full swing and it's been a beautiful experience!
The staff in the Leasing office has been very communicative with each step along the way and continues to keep smiles on their faces to support each resident during the construction period.
I've been very appreciative knowing that the buildings are being taken care of to better each residents life in the long run. With new windows, a new roof on each building

I have been living at Village at Juanita Beach for about 2 years. When I moved in I was a young professional working in downtown Seattle, now I attend a local medical school full time. I was initially concerned about the online reviews but after talking to management and living here for so long I have only had positive experiences.
The complex is located across from Juanita Beach Park and the walking trail that follows the lake; this is great during the summer. It is also less than a 10 minute walk to the Juanita Shopping Center where you can find coffee shops and restaurants. I commuted
