Went to see Mr Linh after searching OC for a shop that would be knowledgeable about my son's 2001 Celica GT. I was given immediate attention and excellent advice about the condition of the engine and my options for repair. He even corrected an issue with engine, all of this without any charge and a smile. I will be back for the recommended repairs.

Mr. Linh is amazing. I saw that I had a hose that was damaged by a rat that got into my engine compartment. . I didn't realize that it was a nonessential drain hose. Mr. Linh even gave me a tip on how to keep the rat from returning. From my experience with other repairs he's done, his prices are very reasonable.

Excellent and timely repairs. Linh is able to diagnose the problem and give you as the car owner different options on the repair process. He prefers using OEM products when appropriate and if there is a similar or better aftermarket product, he is open to using them as well. He is actively engaged throughout the repair process with updates and if a repair is not needed, he is genuine in not performing unnecessary tasks. As far as MR2 gurus in Socal, his knowledge is expansive so before falling into the rabbit hole of reading forums on DIYers, please have the car diagnosed and repaired by Linh

My car I had an urgent issue that I found on a Friday night. My regular mechanic is usually closed on the weekends it couldn't wait till Monday. I scoured the Enthusiast boards and no one seemed to be able to figure out what caused this issue. So I decided I really needed a mechanic that specialized in my car so I gave Linh a call. From the sound of it and he suspected two things but he said he wanted to check a physical check.
I showed up early and what do I find Linh has a never ending pile of Toyotas and Lexus vehicles to work on. What really amazed me is there were at least 7 sporty

Linh is awesome, he helped my brother get his 1992 MR2 back up and running when other mechanics had told us it was hopeless. He was honest, easy to deal with and kept in touch every step of the way to let us know what was happening and how long things would take. He even helped my brother with transportation to and from the shop. I would say Linh is a unicorn in the world of auto mechanics!

Let me start off by saying Linh is the man!! He such a great person and mechanic, he helped so much!
I have a Toyota MR2 with a gen3 engine in it, i was having issues with a rough idle and been struggling to fix it on my own, I called another MR2 specialist shop in Ontario, CA but told me it wouldn't be another month and half until they can see me. I called Mario's import not knowing to expect, and right away Linh answered and told me I can bring my car right away.
Within the first few minutes of linh taking a look at my car he's knew the problem I was so amazed. He knows his stuff

I pulled up to Mario (Linh)'s garage for the first time not knowing what to expect. First impression, Linh was really friendly and knowledgable. i felt very comfortable after finding out all the customers there been coming back to him for years. He got transmission fluid changed for my car and did a complementary check. i am very pleased with the service and pricing is great too. Linh will continue to be my trusty car mechanic from now on.

My clutch in my 2013 Ford Mustang needed to be replaced, HB Ford came back with a ridiculous quote of $3,300 to get it replaced. I ran the scenario with Linh, and he can do the same job with motorcraft parts ordered from Ford for $2,018.
I also have over 96K Miles on my car, and the front 2 brakes needed to be replaced. The dealership quoted $400, Linh got it done for $278.
The clutch is so smooth now, and my 'Stang is back to being in top performance mode. Linh's honesty, integrity

Great shop. I was reading reviews looking for a place in Huntington to get some repairs done so my Scion xB could pass smog. It needed a sensor that was more work than I felt I could handle, and Linh made the process trivial.
I pulled up expecting to be without a car of a day or two while the shop figured out when they could do the work. Instead, Linh had figured out what he needed in 15 minutes, and had the new sensor installed within 4 hours. Even better, he did an oil change and had the smog test taken care of next door! I came in, paid in full, and got my car back totally good to go.

Heard about Mario's Imports from the MR2 community.
I took my MR-S in for a clutch/flywheel/clutch line install and Linh had it done in less than a day and with very short notice. Everything went smoothly and was enjoying my new setup however, I had noticed that the CV boot had torn and I had axle grease everywhere. I proceeded to order a new boot kit from Toyota (which I thought was correct). Come to find out that it was not the right boot kit. Linh, the stand up guy that he is pulled some strings to get the correct boot kit in on the same day.
Overall great guys and I would recommend

Due to my experience, I would not recommend this shop. I heard a lot of good things about this shop but unfortunately they didn't do a good job.
I had so many problems after rebuilding my Gen2 MR2 Engine. I paid for a ct27 and they gave me a ct26, I only realized after I took the turbo out because the manifold studs striped the head. Had I not taken the turbo out I would have never known that they installed the wrong turbo I paid for. They gave me the correct one after I let them know but really?
That's only one of the issues, the axle seal leaked after a tranny rebuild, the valve
