Just a few days prior to Thanksgiving, I had been researching places that handled cremation and completed the online inquiry for a few different ones. Mark called me the very next morning, answered my questions and told me to contact them when I needed their services, any time/day or night. My father passed away in the early hours of the morning and Mark's team was timely, professional and so caring during the hardest day of my life. Our mother passed away in 2020, amid the pandemic, prior to vaccines being available. Visitation was impossible until her last days in hospice. I had talked to another cremation service who offered $600 cremation and after ten minutes it was $1345. A friend told me about Eternal and advanced planning for cremation services. Mark and Lynda, their staff, were amazing. They explained the cremation process, my options, and the cost. Not one-time did they try to sell me anything and the cost never changed. I received the news of my brother's death on a Monday. Being the next of kin and the only family member in the southeastern US, (500 miles away) I needed a lot of assistance with the logistics of handling his cremation and affairs. My wife valiantly battled cancer dating back to 2010 with a more serious diagnosis in Nov, 2019. I never wanted to pre-plan wishes for cremation as we continued to believe God for healing. My 72 year ‘young’ father passed away unexpectedly, at the hospital, hours before the 1 year anniversary of my mother’s death. My Uncle and family flew into town, to see my father for the last time and Mark was compassionate and instrumental in making those arrangements, after getting mixed information from the hospital.
