If I could give 0 stars, I would. I dropped a jacket off to get cleaned (and took before photos to protect myself as this was a $4,000 gifted jacket) and when I picked it up, it had snags all over it. I kindly brought this to their attention and they told me to leave it with them another week so they could see what they could do. Great, thank you! When I came to pick it up, the handed it to me like "okay now go away"....but nothing was changed, the snags were still there. I've been bringing household items here for years. Usually $20 to wash and fold about a dozen towels. Small towels. I brought a dozen by two weeks ago and they went ahead pressed and folded and washed the towels and charged me $65. I asked him what was going on and he made a mistake. Who presses hand towels? I came back two weeks later with another 12 hand towels to only wash and fold and he charge me $45. Not coming back.

I've tried so many dry cleaners in the city and I usually get my clothes back with the same stains in no better condition. I brought a jacket to this place, didn't give any instructions and I got it back in even better condition. They sewed up holes in the pockets and made it look like new. Extremely satisfied. Highly recommended.

I have the cloud couch from restoration hardware. I recently got a small stain in one of the couch cushions. I checked out multiple places and cleaners to see who would be the best option. I'm extremely picky and a bit annoying even. I went out to Doheny dry cleaners who also dry cleans my clothes I came in super upset and not only did they deliver they completely blew my mind and got rid of the stain within minutes! They have always done a great job with my clothes this month they went above and beyond for me. First, when I went to pick up my dry cleaning I had hoped to pay in cash but realized I was a few dollars short. The gentleman behind the counter was really lenient and willing to accept the amount that I had, not pressing me to rummage through my bag and grab my card. Terrible horrible AWFUL AWFUL!!!!!!!!! I had my Louis Vuitton purse dry cleaned here and they completely ruined the straps!! They hung the bag from a hangar when it was wet... or maybe they just wet it too deeply, I don't know how it works. All I know is when I got the bag back the straps were permanently deformed!!!
I gave them a chance to fix it. They kept it for weeks and NEVER called to let me know it was "ready" I had to check in. The straps, lo and behold, looked exactly the same: RUINED!!!!

If I could give zero stars I would do so. The worst dry cleaner ever. They tried to ripp me of, charching a total different price ( huge amount for a regular shirt, not even wool or something special ) then I was told. The manager, a super rude guy, even refused to show me their price list. Stains were still in the fabric too.
When I was trying to explain to him that I would not accept such a behavior he said to me "who cares?" and that I should better leave.
I rarely write reviews but I really have to warn people of this one. Very shocking experience, never ever go there again!

After receiving bad service at this cleaners I posted my bad review.
And guess what, I got a call from them with offer to get my money back if I remove my bad rating.
Conclusions
1. Yelp ratings are important
2. I don't think that's is right to "buy good ratings" by offering refund afterwards instead of listening to customers on the first place

There has to be a good reason why this cleaners has been in business for more than 30 years. I've been coming here for years and love it. They are friendly, lovable, and professional. Every time I come in it's a pleasure to see the front desk people. My clothes come back clean and perfect--and smelling nice (no chemical smell). I really appreciate how fast they work and their attention to detail. Thank Eric and the entire team!

I absolutely love this place! Eric the owner is a sweetheart and had a few minor things fixed for me like jean buttons etc and even though I took my wallet out to pay he didn't charge me once! I hate not paying and I've always insisted but he was adamant about not receiving payment! They do well on everything and fast delivery! This place is ran by an honest hard working man and I will never go anywhere else! Thank you Eric for being so kind.

Really have never dealt with worse customer service in my life. They lost my shirt---after calling every week for a month with their repeated "we will look again" "give us a few more days" I finally walked in and was yelled at by the manager, Eric, for 30 min. He started with "you are just coming in after a month?"
They did absolutely nothing for my lost shirt except repeatedly call me a liar. Such a shame. A refund for my service would have been a very easy fix.
Stay away. Very very mean, didn't get my shirt back. Situation was handled horribly.

I really wish I'd read reviews before I brought my gorgeous red silk dress to be dry cleaned at Doheny Cleaners. I'd gotten a few things cleaned there before with no problem, and they're right across the street so you can't beat the convenience. Also, the owner runs that entire block - including Nails and More and the Fantastic Sam's, both of which I've patronized many times with no problems. But when i picked up my red dress, I noticed through the plastic that the delicate sleeves were all frayed, and weirdly unevenly.
