Bethel Central Market has served the Bethel and surrounding communities for over 75 years. We are a full-service grocery store, just on a rural Vermont scale. You will find almost everything you would find at your big box grocery store; we just carry a smaller variety of brands. Services
You can still see the original meat pulley system from the 1940's! Our beef is Vermont Farm Raised, and 100% Grass Fed. We are famous for our house-ground beef, and hand cut steaks including: Tenderloin, Ribeye, Sirloin, London Broil, New York Strip, Blade, Brisket, and any special-order cuts you might need.
Our Pitmaster, Josh, has been doing real Texas BBQ for over 20 years, and he says "it has taken every minute of that 20 years to get my food to where it is today". Josh was born and raised in Texas, spending much of his life in and around the Austin area. This part of Texas is considered by many culinary experts as having the best BBQ in the world.

Real Texas BBQ Style Brisket! Who would've thought it you would find a place like this in Vermont? And in a Market Place!?
The owner was super kind and a very personable dude. He is originally from Texas so he knows what he's doing. I am impressed with the time and love that was put into this brisket. Nicely done good sir!! BBQ is not easy!
