I had a great experience at the salon. I got a wash and go, I never had one before so I was nervous but my stylist Sadie assured me it will look great! The appointment went great. When I left to go to dinner I received a lot of compliments and the style still looked great the next day. I would DEFINITELY recommend this salon to anyone and I will be back soon. When I first walked into Zaria’s hair salon Michelle was the person that braided my 4 years old daughter’s hair. I was amazed to see my daughter sitting so calm using her iPad while Michelle braided her hair. I told Michelle I’m not used to this. She always cry when she gets her hair braided.
Michelle has what I call “gentle hands” and she is also a very nice hairdresser.
I always get compliments for my daughter’s hair as well as my hair. So If you’re looking for a hairdresser to give you a “Wow” hairstyle, quality hair care, and a good hair wash I highly recommend Michelle

Grace is an EXCELLENT STYLIST!!! I came in from Cleveland and was a hot mess. 🤦🏽♀️I needed to pick me up in the worst way, so I started with my hair. The worst customer service ever. I made an appointment at 3:30pm. I get to the establishment and I was greeted by nobody for 15 minutes. I went up to talk to one of the stylists and I was greeted with sass for no apparent reason. The host finally comes and tells me that I’m going to get my silk press done by Aubrey she almost done. I literally sat there for more than an hour. That isn’t even the best part. One of the stylists stops in the middle of doing someone hair to go outside and curse up a storm to her baby father. I called in a few weeks ago to get a wash and blow dry. I needed my hair washed prior to getting braids. I spoke with Karimah, who was very pleasant. I came in the day of my appointment 5 to 10 minutes prior to my appointment time. There was no greeter at the front desk nor did any of the stylists say hello. I assumed maybe because they were busy? Found this place doing a google search for somewhere last minute to do natural hair. Loved that they accept walk-ins. I hit the jackpot when I found this gem! Unlike those other overpriced salons that specialize in "natural hair", Zaria service charges are reasonable and they use good products. This place has potential but it's lacking in skill, specifically the stylist Audrey who I had seen a few times. I'm sure there are customers that leave with beautiful styles. Mine was never quite right, though my stylist attempted to rectify issues on most occasions. All the stylists currently there seem nice and they each seem to have their specialty. I enjoy coming to this salon. Very clean, friendly staff and top notch service. I've been wearing my hair natural and it's very hard to manage, however whenever I get it done here I'm left feeling content with the results. They use very natural products that don't leave a build up and my hair has grown significantly since going to them.

I think this is a great salon! The environment is relaxing and the staff is very friendly. I like to get my natural hair washed by Grace. She seems to be very knowledgeable about how I shoUld care for my hair. She's been great with helping my hair get back to its natural state. And she also does very good silk press! Terrible, terrible haircut. There is no style and very uneven. I cannot stop crying it is so awful. When I returned to the salon to show them, the audacity of staff telling me to go to a barber. NEVER,NEVER LET AUDREY DO YOUR HAIR. YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED. I wish I can post a picture but this does not allow me. It's 10:31 pm and I'm still crying.

I think this is a very nice salon. Clean, professional. The fruit and juice for clients is a nice touch. If you have loose natural hair, I think you will find it meets your needs. However, I just don't think the skill level for STYLING locs is there. I haven't been pleased with the hair styles I've received since Jesena left a year or two ago.

This whole experience was a DISASTER. For starters my hair dresser was an HOUR late to the salon..that's right I waited an hour for her to even show up to our appointment. I proceed to tell her EXACTLY how I wanted my crochet done and she basically tells me she does this all the time as though my preference didn't matter. I specifically asked her to use a certain curl pattern in the back and then to mix them as she worked her way to the top. I also asked her to spread the crochet out so that she wouldn't use so much hair and the hair wouldn't be too big on my small head. She

If you have 4b or 4c hair, this probably isn't the place to get your silk press done. When I left the salon, my hair looked closer to a blow out than a press. Where's the "silk?" I had to wrap my hair with saran wrap at home just to get a semblance of shine and I've never had to do a silk wrap to achieve a shiny look. The stylist did a great job blowdrying, so my hair does have decent movement. It's the overall look I'm unhappy with.

What can I say? An amazing salon with talented, creative and great spirited stylists. It's a natural hair salon creating and maintaining and retaining natural styles. This is my first time writing a review and its my honest opinion based on my experience. I wanted to get my hair braided and found Zaria salon through Yelp. Of course I checked out the reviews and it seemed like a great place to style my hair. I wasn't too happy with my experience at Zaria. The beautician was experienced, but she didn't quite give me the look I was going for. I came to get my hair done for my birthday, and was not pleased initially. After leaving the salon, I went back to get it fixed since I was running low on time. We were able to fix it afterwards. If you come here, make sure the beautician sees a picture of what you want and you clearly explain what you are looking for.

I made an appointment here on a whim after an IG post by Grecia caught my eye. It was by far the most amazing silk press I had ever seen!
