A family-owned business, Advanced Water Treatment was originally launched by Dennis Haskin, a veteran of the water treatment industry. To provide the freshest water around, while operating a business founded on loyalty and mutual respect. In 1977, Dennis moved his expanding business to its present Hamburg location and, 25 years later, passed his knowledge, passion, and position on to his son, Brad.

The office located in South Lyon is the latest addition to the Advanced Water Treatment locations. This 5000 sq foot warehouse and showroom offer Dura-Cube salt, Solar Salt, FIlters, Water Softener sales, Service, and Installations. The showroom offers water testing, equipment demonstration, bottled water pick up, and extended hours to better serve our customers.

Reverse osmosis systems use a special membrane-based water filtration method that prevents large molecules and ions, such as sands and salts, from passing into your drinking water. Reverse Osmosis is an effective mechanical water treatment process for reducing 95% to 99% of the dissolved mineral salts, organics and particles by forcing the water, under pressure, through a semi-permeable membrane.

Advance has always been great to us. We have been using them since we bought our first home, 5 years ago. Fast service, knowledgeable, on time. Mark go our well pressure tank swapped out quickly, was very professional, left the area clean, and took the time to check our system to make sure it was running properly before he left. Jay was super nice and professional! He really was helpful and could answer all of my questions. I appreciate the time he took to show me how to take the cover off the water softener and how to replace the battery when it becomes necessary! He also replaced a retainer clip on my softener. Mark came out to do the initial assessment. He looked over my softener system, took apart some of the top head and examined the buildup inside. Then he tested the well water pre-softener to determine what system components he would recommend and left me a comprehensive quote.
I scheduled to have Advanced come out and install the new system (replaced softener and added an iron filter) the following week. The communication has been unprofessional and has cost us time and money because the sales representative misrepresented the services provided and acted like the mistake was mine when we asked for clarification multiple times for this issue. We agreed to the purchase with the understanding that a service was part of the "standard installation".

I could not be more pleased with this company! Everyone we worked with was extremely professional and knowledgeable. We had two companies come to the house to give us a free quote for a new water softener. One spent an hour trying to sell us a $6,500 system that we had no interest in. Advanced Water Treatment was in and out in 15 minutes with a quote for the system we actually wanted, and then installed in the same week! Shout out to Steve for coming twice in one day and for not only helping with the iron buildup in my washing machine, but for then checking and cleaning every other facuet and water

Mark was a pleasure to work with for our water softener, while house filter, and RO installation. He was extremely knowledgeable and gave a very detailed, user friendly demonstration of our purchase. His work was very organized, all of the tubes are neatly and expertly arranged around the unit. When he left, we felt confident about our unit and preforming the maintenance. I called Advanced Water Treatment because I just moved in to a new house with a water softener and reverse osmosis system. I have never had either system so I called for a delivery of salt and asked them to change my filters. They were prompt in scheduling an appointment for the same week. Brent was my service technician. He was great. He was very thorough and patient in explaining the entire system to me and how it operated. I was very appreciative of time he took to make me feel comfortable with understanding the system. I would highly recommend them.

Advanced water treatment came out to my house today and really helped me and my husband solve our problem with our water pressure tank. Brad went out of his way to explain the best options we had and spent a lot of time helping us when really he was just there to adjust our water softener. The people I spoke with were very helpful over the phone. Sent someone to my home the same day as the issue which meant they sent someone who had to fly home that day from a conference. We had hard water (city water in Dexter) that was corroding and ruining our faucets. AWT had someone come and look at our house and provide an estimate. Two days later the the system was installed and operational. Everything went smoothly and professionally - they came when they said they would, did the work well and on time at reasonable cost. I live in a tiny house on the chain of lakes and I have always struggled with extremely rusty and hard water. I had been nursing an old system along for many years and was trying to avoid installing a new softener. Unfortunately, I waited too long and the old system crapped out completely.
NOT TO WORRY!!!!! Brad walked me through the costs to put a band aide on it and also suggested a new system. I went with the new system and could not be more impressed! The new system was installed incredibly quickly and very well given the tight space it had to fit. The pricing structure was well explained

I was so concerned about moving to Hamburg township and the well water, I thought I would never be blonde again, and that I would never own anything white; let alone the sinks and marble counters.
