Get Well With Danielle
Both modalities require you to wear comfortable clothes. They both increase joint mobility. Thai massage involves more floor work and lots of stretching. Sports massage focuses on specific muscles that are over used in various sports and it includes a lot of assisted and PNF stretching. Cranio Sacral therapy is a form of bodywork or alternative therapy that uses gentle touch to palpate the joints of the cranium, spine, and sacrum bones.

Structural Yoga Therapy is a method that adapts yoga to the individual's unique needs. It is a sequence of joint freeing movements that help the body assume a natural balance of muscle strength and range of motion. NASM is the National Academy of Sports Medicine's premier evidence-based certified personal training program founded on the proprietary Optimum Performance Trainingmodel.
Services
I am an online Functional Movement Coach. I use my combined study of Yoga, Personal Training, Massage, and CranioSacral Therapy to adapt creative and holistic programs for each client I work with. I have a sharp eye for preventing injury, a compassionate ability to relate to people moving out of inactivity, and the right amount of motivation to help clients reach their health and wellness goals.
I coach clients first on a healthy range of motion in the joints. I do this by instructing them in The Joint Freeing Series. If someone is chronically tight in one area of the body I give them poses to practice at home. For example, if someone has tight hamstrings I will have him or her practice a hamstring stretch, daily.
An individual personal training session involves strength training, stretching, and rolling out. Together we build power in your muscles and stability in your joints so you can move better in everything that you do. There are many ways to accomplish more strength. I have beginners start with body weight exercises and TRX training, which takes bodyweight training to the next level by creating instability with suspension bands.
Massage helps increase range of motion in the joints and lengthen tight muscles. It also releases helps you relax and release muscular holding patterns from previous injuries. If you're someone who has chronic pain from an old injury and scar tissue that is impinging your range of motion, massage will help you.

We have been working as a couple with Danielle for only a month and are pleasantly surprised how much better we feel. Andy has been dealing with a serious back problem for the last year and had been somewhat cured after three epidurals. He made an appointment with his Dr. two weeks ago. In this last week, Danielle’s sessions have really kicked in and he no longer needs Advil or pain cream. He is canceling his Dr. appointment and will be certain not to miss appointments with Danielle. I have been out of shape for too long and Danielle has been the perfect fit for me to get back “at it” and

I came to Danielle looking to relieve all the stress I carry in my shoulders and back resulting from bad posture and past whiplash experiences. I may not need the physical therapy aspect like some others who are bouncing back from injury, but let me tell you there is always room for improvement and Danielle is a great accountability partner and calming presence. I feel so relaxed and refreshed after our massage/craniosacral therapy sessions that I’m ready to take on work the next day!

Loved my visit with Danielle made me feel like I had known her all my life, very friendly and welcoming, had back pain and also a lot of tight muscles. I do long work outs at the gym and forget that sometimes the body needs to relax, Danielle was great and would recomend her to everybody.

I’m an elderly woman with a fused ankle, a replacement knee, back problems, bone spurs in my neck, and compressed disc. Danielle has helped me get stronger, more balanced, and be able to move better on my own. I just wish she lived closer and I had more money so I could see her all the time.

She's a one woman team!
Danielle's got no shortage of experience, knowledge, and certifications backing her. From yoga to foundation training to personal training to massage (and then some) she'll rock your world with results you can measure (if your consistent & committed).

As her friend and colleague I know she's particularly passionate about supporting people's recovery from chronic pain...
And she's darn good at it.

Don't hesitate, wait, or doubt... feel free to connect with Danielle to ask some questions & ensure she's the right fit.

My wife and I have been working with Danielle twice a week for a little over a year now. Prior to moving to Monterey we had worked with another trainer for about 3 years who we really liked. So it was with some trepidation that we started working with Danielle. Any worries were quickly allayed within a few weeks. Danielle is highly skilled, patient, and caring. She does an excellent job of assessing our needs while gently pushing hard enough that we continue to make progress. I like that she can call on a number of disciplines thus making a more complete physical workout that addresses things

I experience a lot of anxiety, and have amazing and talented bodywork practitioners at home (Portland) that help a lot. It’s one of the only modalities that calms me. When I travel, I usually don’t seek out massage, because I’ve been so disappointed in the past. Consequently, I’m very particular about bodywork. However, I’d been on the road for six weeks, and so I decided to take the risk — and I’m glad I did. Danielle created a safe, warm, and tranquil space. For me to feel relaxed in someone’s presence that I don’t know, is rare. She communicates clearly, has a warm personality

I have been working with Danielle for several months. She is a master of many skills. A gifted healer, she combines yoga, Foundation Training™, different modalities of massage and physical therapy to provide a complete regimen for healing. I've suffered from chronic pain in my surgically repaired low back for almost 20 years. After having tried everything, from PT to acupuncture, to massage, to Rolfing™, the Feldenkrais method, and chiropractic, all without lasting success, Danielle finally has me on the path to recovery. She is reasonably priced but most important, she is extremely effective

Danielle is an amazing instructor who creates a space of ease and tranquility. Every class I have taken I have been transported, and had left feeling more in tune with myself.

Danielle has been an integral part of my healing journey since 2011. I have a chronic illness that started over 35 years ago resulting in a whole complex of issues. 2011 was the year things started to come together for me in terms of really healing. Danielle is one of the key people who reduced my pain levels and helped my body get stronger. Another big bonus--a quieter mind and improved sleep quality!

You will be hard pressed to find someone who is able to focus and get in tune with what your body needs to heal and get stronger. With years of experience and her innate healer's sense, she
