In 1978, with a vision and a dream of running a family business that could be trusted, Tom Steele opened Tom Steele Tires on the corner of North Clinton and Spy Run. Starting with a two bay garage, servicing tires and the basics under the hood, quickly turned into an eight bay garage with a shop that offers more than you would think.

I took my car that I purchased early last month to a big dealership here in Fort Wayne. They told me what was wrong with it and they were correct. But over $2500 for the parts and labor seemed a little off to me. I bought the car from Barts here in Fort Wayne and Adam recommended that I call Tom Steele so I did. I gave them the run down and sat the appointment up for yesterday. Drop the car off and 3 hours later they called me with repair cost. When I tell you they were over $2,000 less than what I was quoted I am not kidding you. With Christmas around the corner we did not have a lot of extra

Had a big bulge in my sidewall, they kept it honest that it wasn't safe to patch it. I started at the Illinois location, and even tho they didn't have any used tires they called their other location and got me a good used tire for 33 bucks out the door! They were kind, caring, and friendly. I really appreciated their skilled services and friendliness!

My car was driving funny. I thought my tires needed alignment. I scheduled an appointment and took my car in for a check on my lunch break. The gentleman took my car into the garage while I waited. 10 minutes later another gentleman came into the waiting area to check that I have been waited on (good customer service). The first gentleman came back 15 minutes later and explained that my tire was rotting ( due to the dealership I purchased my car from failing to properly maintain them).
