Vincenzo Pugliese not only bet on the fact people crave wholesome, made-from-scratch comfort foods, he also staked his reputation on it. That is the simple, yet enduring recipe behind La Rosa Chicken & Grill, founded in 1994 in Marlboro, New Jersey. Food was an integral part of Pugliese's life, and thanks to his commitment since childhood, helped to form the early framework behind La Rosa.
From fast food to tablecloth restaurants, the family- business gave him the insight to create a unique, casual dining concept that offered friendly service and the old-world traditions of freshly prepared, wholesome food. Three decades later, it's what drives customer to return to La Rosa again and again.

I lived many years in Chatham. La Rosa Chicken’s first restaurant was in Madison. We frequented there often. As a result, I believe I have the experience to be your avian Sherpa in this culinary assent! The chicken here is exactly what you would want from the best roasted chicken ever. It’s moist, tender and flavorful. Their rotisserie rotates like a Farris wheel and you can witness the chicken drippings running off one bird and onto another! (Early on I felt faint while watching the dripping fat!) It’s not just the chicken but they have great sides too. Don’t be put off by the creamed
