Established in 1988 the Grasshopper Too has become a landmark in the township of Wayne and surrounding areas. All food is freshly prepared on premise with the full menu and specials being served at both the smoke-free dining room and at the bar. If nightlife or sports is your interest we offer karaoke, live bands, and D.J.'s with drink specials and 24 hdtv's to show all sporting events without a cover charge.

The Grasshopper Too is my go to place for a corned beef sandwich and a draft. The sandwich is thick with juicy quality corned beef and a 20 oz. domestic draft at $3.50 does not hurt either. The sandwich comes with a small cup of coleslaw and steak fries. In my book that is comfort food. The pric has gone up since Covid and is now $12.95. The pastrami sandwich is also good and for the rest of their menu, I could not tell you.

Went for dinner last night and had the jumbo Grasshopper burger. Asked for medium rare and burger was well done. Asked the waiter for lettuce and tomato and he took 10 minutes to bring it out after we reminded him after waiting 5 minutes. I tried to cut the burger in half and the roll just crumbled as it was stale. With the limited menu I would think the items that they have would be fresh. Wound up having to eat the burger with a fork and knife as the bun totally collapsed.

My husband and I stopped in for a "Quick" bite to eat and a drink at 1pm Took 20 minutes just to order our first drink and another 10 on top to get the menus. The young kids/bartender who had no place doing so could care less. Never came back. The old guy was just there for grins and giggles. Nobody asked if we wanted anything after 40 minutes. So we had to bail and find someplace else for food. If the food is as poor as their service (which we don't know), then DO NOT GO.

Owner is a class act! I just moved to office space next door and placed lunch order but placed it at the wrong locations. Owner overheard my mistake and offered to cancel the order and make at this location. What service! During these crazy Covid times to be so generous is a real class act! Support local!

Tuesday night trivia was pretty fun, but food/service could use a revamp. I ordered a salt burger.. oops I mean cheese burger. Avoid if you have high blood pressure... the salt may have grim reaper visiting earlier than you had hoped. Was going to give my first 1 star, but the fries were pretty good and parking was plentiful.

Not sure if this is a chain, but i've seen a few all over jersey so i decided to stop in and check it out. I was in a rush so I sat at the bar and grabbed a quick drink while the bartender regaled me with a story about his day. he was a true Irish man with quick wit and humor i laughed all the way until my food arrived.
I ordered a Philly cheese steak which ended up having real steak cut up on it, tasted like filet and i was in HEAVEN!

This is a typical neighbourhood bar it reminds me a lot of that one place in Clifton Road of the highway people are very chatty here bartenders a quick nice it looks like a Lidgett Irish bar I didn't have any food I just had a Guinness
I didn't even have the time to finish because we kind of came in late from another place
They had much order crowd in the beginning but then as time went on more younger people came from mothers and that other place that we went to before which I hated The people that were in there
