American Wear was founded in 1951 by Nick Auriemma and has been family-owned and operated ever since. Nick's caring personality and forthright values endeared all of his customers; he was a living customer loyalty program. With Nick's son John Auriemma, at the helm supported by his cousin Dean DeFilippo and John Auriemma Jr., those same values have lived on through three generations.
Municipal, County and State Agencies have incentives or mandates to do a percentage of their purchasing with Small Business Enterprises. Many large corporations have policies in place to encourage doing business with Small Business Enterprises. We aren't going to tell you that you should do business with American Wear just because we are a registered Small Business Enterprise (SBE).
No other uniform supplier cares like we do. We are small enough to provide outstanding, personal service, independent enough to be flexible and creative, and large enough to effectively deliver the solutions that will improve your business. StarTrac Garment Control by American Wear is a powerful tracking technology that we use to accurately count, clean, route, and deliver many of the materials we provide our customers. With identifying chips sewn into uniforms and mats, and readers set up at strategic points throughout our facility and trucks, we know exactly what's coming in, where it's going, and when it leaves.
At American Wear, community involvement is about more than just running a charity 5k every year. To us, community involvement is a way of life. Worst uniform company i have ever had dont show up for weeks on end and when they do show up they give you one shirt have had to bring home clothes numerous times to wash myself manager promised to clean and deliver uniforms next day and we are going on day 4 of that promise will definitely looking at switching companies in near future

I don't know how American Wear does it, Reasonable Pricing along with Superior service. Light years ahead of the "Big" uniform companies in service and Value for the investment. And our Tech who delivers product weekly "Vinny" is the best!!
