I am a first responder I have taken a friend of mine from boots as soon as I walked in there the employees start acting really funny towards me i have been going to the store The Belleville store & when they had the Newark store on market Street I have been a long time customer always came to the store for my uniform needs ever since I was a Young Proby Always had a very good experience at this store until 6/5/2020 I want to ask for help neither one of three employees do not wanna be bothered there are more geared to given my friend help than me I was like wow And very disappointed in the

This use to be our go-to uniform store for my husband. But then little things started happening: they wouldn't show him pants in the brands he asked, they never had anything he needed in stock, you'd call about your order and they'd never call you back. However, now the straw that broke the camel's back: we went in and asked to purchase several shoulder patches for my husband's new uniform shirt. (We special order his shirts because he's 6'6" and has a long torso). We were told that the "owner" advised his employees not to sell the patches. You

At first I was skeptical to shop at this store because of the reviews but had a family member who's been going to this store for years take me there. Let me tell you ignore the negative reviews! The staff at the store were so welcoming, they greeted me as soon as I walked into the door, I told them i came for my uniform for NJdoc academy and showed them the list of things I needed and they automatically knew exactly what I needed without looking at the list! I got fitted for everything and was able to leave that same day with everything that was needed to start the academy also at a reasonable

You could spend less time on a donors waiting list for a new kidney then for an item you ordered from this location(everything is on back order), super expensive, cheeper if you bought It on amazon but they won't sell you or alter anything unless you bought it from them, I just personally hate this place

Never again. Against my better judgement, based on a very strict no return/store credit only policy, I bought a pair of Bates boots here. They felt like a new pair of boots usually does. The next morning I put them on when I got to work and realized they have a very hard plastic strip on the outside that was digging into my ankle which would probably not break-in. After walking about 10 feet in them I thought it best to bring them back. Initially it seemed like an exchange for a more expensive pair of boots would be allowed but at the register an older white haired gentleman, who is usually unpleasant

My husband goes here for his work uniforms, and tactical gear. There was only 1 time where they accidentally sent him home with the wrong depts emblem on his uniform, but apologized and had it fixed by the next day. No complaints otherwise, and they take care of returning customers. Theyre our go to uniform store, and we will remain customers.

Had a problem with a clothing article & they said they would contact the manufacturer to exchange it but I believe they never did & told me I was out if luck after telling me different stories! I called the manufacturer myself & had absolutely no problem exchanging it! I will not be back there......

Have done business with this store quite a few times in the past since it's close to home. Walked in to get a hat I had purchased elsewhere since it was fitted and all they have is flex-fit, to have my job emblem placed in front of it. Was going to pay for the emblem but they refused to put the emblem on unless I purchased the flex-fit hat completely which made no sense. You'd think it was the least they could do after all the business I've given them. Needless to say I'll be going elsewhere to buy uniforms or anything else for that matter from now on.

Absolutely 1 of the worst shopping experiences in my life. As blunt as possible, scumbags who do not care for their customers and to just push uniforms out the door. I purchased a set of Carhartt winter gloves. Wind proof, touch screen technology, etc for $50. I know when you purchase Carhartt you pay top dollar for quality product. Well needless to say they didn't live up to what was advertised. The touch area didn't like up with my finger and didn't handle wind or cold temps at all. So when I originally went, I was ignored, pushed aside and was rudely taken care of. So

Don't care about the customer, they lie to you tell u uniform will be done in a few days now it's been 3 weeks and still waiting when you cal they don't like to answer and if they do they are rude n nasty like you're bothering them. Tell you everything is in stock and after you pay for things tell u will take few days because they don't have it you call they keep you on hold and never come back. If they tel you we will call you back don't hold you're breath because they won't. You go to the store and they get nasty because you're there

Read my other review on their Newark location. First, getting through on the phone is nearly impossible. I called 4 times before someone in the Order/Sales dept. picked up. I only called this store because the one in Newark suggested I call them due to lack of inventory at the Newark location. So, I called and asked for a specific duty jacket. Was told they only carry it in blue not black. REALLY????? Both of these stores do not offer choices at all. Not every officer is male, 6'3, weighs 300 lbs and only wears blue. Get with the times Atlantic Uniform or lose even more of your business

This place is a complete nightmare... My husband is currently attending a police academy and we came here to get some alterations done. Well these alterations were done so poorly the next day the stichings were coming out. I came back to get them fix and all they did was patch it up over it. I didn't say anything as long as they hold up I didn't mind. However one wash later the sewn in creases were falling out yet again. Brought back the dickies shirt to let them know what happen and they were so rude and unprofessional with smart remarks like "oh are you sure your not pulling on

I had been a customer here for years, buying footwear and clothing. However, my last purchase was a pair of Carhartt jeans, which split in the rear only FIVE DAYS later. Since I was busy working, I had my mom go back with the jeans and receipt, where she was sarcastically asked "what do you want us to do?", which was the clerk's lousy way of saying no replacement and no refund. Shocked, I went back myself, mentioned the way my mother was spoken to, and the same clerk who spoke to her came up with a new one: according to him, the pants looked like they were cut with a razor - funny
