Rich Goorsky has been tattooing for thirty years. Rich offers tattoos that are capable of expressing themselves in a variety styles and guises. His tattoos continue to offer an ongoing development of his personality. He offers unique ideas in subject matter that include a coast-to-coast perspective, helping his customers decide on a tattoo that suits them just right.
Born in Wisconsin and raised in the Northwest suburbs of Illinois, Josh Albers has been tattooing in the Chicagoland area for over five years. Josh subjects himself to a fantastic range of influences. His surface illustrations reflect unconventional ideas as well as many classics. His approach to tattooing is genuine which offers the capabilities of his designs to be expressed in a variety of language and guises.
We do not offer piercings. Google tends to list all tattoo shops under the category of Tattoos/Piercings, but our shop has never offered piercings. Depending on the artist, we are typically booked several weeks out, with the exception of Saturdays, which we leave open for smaller tattoos. If you would like a smaller/simpler tattoo (like a name, for example), call the shop on any Saturday around 12pm when we open.
Basically, there are two types of tattoo budgets: SIZE and PRICE. We have no preference as to which type of budget you have; we just need to know in order to start. The last thing we want for our clients is for them to be put in a financial bind and we do our best to be clear and straightforward so both parties are happy with the results.

This is a bit of a long overdue review, as my cousin and I got a couple of tattoos here on August 26, 2021. I'm not the type to really leave reviews, but I felt the need to leave one for Noodles Tattoo Studio. These guys are amazing. I moved out of state, but before my move I was looking to get Fall Out Boy tattoos with my cousin as a going away gift to her. With the pandemic, almost all shops are fully booked with no leeway for other appointments. That all changed when I reached out to noodles. I shot them an email and before I knew it, they had us down in their books with a down payment

I went to a different shop for my first two tattoos but the service was not as great second time around. Decided to try this place out and it was definitely worth it! The place is laid back and the vibes here are much better. Everyone was friendly and made me feel more comfortable about getting tattooed (I don’t get work done as often as I’d like to lol). I was with Rich today, my request was a simple one but he did a great job and was quick as well! You can also tell he and the others here are genuine and passionate about what they do. This place is a bit pricier compared to the other place

This was my very first tattoo! I lost my mom in November 2020 and she was my rock. This was for her. I live in another state but got my tat here! It’s was an amazing experience. This place is AWESOME! We called around to shops in the area for a spur of the moment Saturday afternoon tattoo...everywhere else was fully booked solid. I stumbled upon Noodles after driving past it many many times. We called in and the girl who answered was super sweet and said we can put you on a wait list and call if there's openings. We sent her an email of what we were looking for and about 2 hours after we originally called, she called back and said we could get in the last time slot of the evening. Josh did an excellent job on my new tattoo. I was looking for something simple to replace having to wear a wedding band. His design/font was classic yet unique. My wife loved it. Josh (and the entire staff) kept me laughing and relaxed. I highly recommend Noodles Tattoo if you're looking to get some ink.

I visited a couple months back to get my very first tattoo. He seemed very excited and welcoming over the phone, but when I entered, he just completely switched up. He said he thought I was one of their regulars, a different Zoey i'm guessing. Came in for a simple lightning bolt, and left with streaky lines within. Also, my tattoo is about the size of a dime. Still 100 dollars. Choose a different spot guys. 0 stars.

I couldn't have enjoyed my first, big tattoo experience more (got my wife's initial a few years back, but it's small!) Josh did a fantastic job and made the consultation and appointment a blast. Got to meet the whole team and participated in quoting favorite movies, trash talking, rocking out, and learning that these guys know their stuff and take good care of their clients. I had an absolutely horrible experience at this tattoo studio. The tattoo artist Josh was nice when I first visited the studio to get my tattoo, but he became very unprofessional when I visited again and asked him to tweak the tattoo. He passively aggressively called me a waste of time and very bluntly said to my face that "all of this is stupid." He also said that no tattoo artist would waste their time making the small changes that I wanted. Fantastic experience! Went early on a Friday and were the first served. Arriving early is the key to avoiding a wait. These guys are great and take the time needed with each customer. You do not feel rushed at all, which is so great if you're new or nervous. My daughter and I came in for two sets of basically matching tattoos, with some minor tweaks for each of us. Rich was super patient and helpful in advising us on best options and nailed the designs on the first try. Then he was fast and friendly while dealing with my embarrassingly low pain tolerance. LOL. A random trip on a Saturday night to Noodles equaled me getting my first tattoo. I had found this place by both word of mouth, as well as Yelp reviews. As soon as my friend and I walked in, I knew it would be a good experience. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. We had a little bit of a wait, but we did not mind, as we were walk-ins. Josh was the one who ended up taking care of my friend and I. He wasn't sure if we would both be able to be fit in, but he made it happen. Everything was very clean and hygienic. This place is the absolute best! Today was my third time getting a tattoo here, and I will be a customer for life. All the guys in the shop are fantastic - extremely welcoming, funny, and knowledgeable about what they're doing! They're not afraid to be honest, too. If something won't work for your skin or the location you want it, they'll be honest and tell you so. They really care about their clients and want to see them happy, so they want to be upfront with you if it's not a design or location that will stand up to the wear and tear over time.

Rich was my tattoo artist and was amazingly perfect in every way possible. He stenciled out my tattoo twice and put my piece together like a puzzle. He walked me through the whole process and even stayed later to finish up the little details just to make sure I was happy with the piece.
