The Paradise menu features callaoo (greens), plantain porridge, curry goat, jerk (spiced) chicken, cow foot, brown stew beef, Jamaican meat and vegetable patties, cocoa bread and Manish water, which is goat's head soup. A visit to Paradise finds Mr. Gentles busy preparing akee and codfish, a seafood dish enhanced by the pepper-like fruit that grows in Jamaica.
He adds onions, green pepper, Scotch bonnet pepper, thyme, pimento, tomato and other ingredients, and serve it with rice. Our main purpose then as it is now, is to provide the most authentic Jamaican food at an affordable price. A few of our menu staples are Curry Goat, Oxtail, Jerk Chicken and Cowfoot.

Food is horrible. Got stew chicken , it taste like bbq chicken . Their” cabbage “ is mixed vegetables from the can . They never have food or plaintains. It’s garbage and not worth the price . Definitely not Jamaican , Guyanese , or Trinidad cooking the food . Probably African . Best off going to the reggae cafe before here .
