Master classes will be held at Imagine Ballet Theatre, and the competition will be at the Peery's Egyptian Theater in Ogden, UT. I am extremely honored and humbled to continue the work of Katherine Kersten and her American Ballet Competition. Ms. Kersten will remain affiliated with the American Ballet Competition (ABC) as consultant.
Since its inception in 2002 countless talented young dance students ages 9-20 from the USA and abroad have attended ABC. The American Ballet Competition is dedicated to the preservation and enhancement of the art and excellence of ballet education, teaching and performance. Though 'ballon' means "to bounce, " it refers to the quality of a dancer's jump and not the height.
