South Jersey Ballet School provides dancers with high quality, classical ballet instruction in a healthy, caring environment. Students receive individual attention and are encouraged to grow personally as dancers. Dancers are not only trained in the discipline of ballet but are encouraged to broaden and strengthen their techniques with many forms of dance.

Services
Director Andrea Duffin Conway began her training at the age of eight with Madeline Cantrella Culpo in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, and started her performing career with the Berkshire Ballet, dancing leading roles in such ballets as Cinderella, La Fille Mal Gardee, and The Nutcracker. She went on to become an apprentice with the Boston Ballet Company and performed with the Pennsylvania Ballet while on scholarship at the school.
Here at South Jersey Ballet School, we take pride in teaching our youngest group of aspiring dancers. Our goal is to provide quality instruction to your child while allowing them to have fun, explore their creativity, and get rewards throughout the year. Our Early Childhood classes have a small student to teacher ratio, so your child can get individualized attention in class.
Since its founding year in 1992, South Jersey Ballet Theatre has been committed to providing an avenue for performance the serious dancer might not otherwise find. Each holiday season, SJBT performs the ever-classic nutcracker for sold-out audiences. Artistic director, Andrea Duffin, began SJBT with dedication to all dancers in the South Jersey area.

As I look to start my own children in ballet (and dance in general) in another state, I am hoping I can find something even close to this! I spent my whole childhood and teen years with Andrea Duffin at the school and theater. This place was absolutely a second home for all of us. The environment was nurturing and positive, disciplined for those wanting to strive for a professional career, and so rewarding on so many levels including personal growth and growth as a dancer. The past 7 years that I have spent at South Jersey Ballet have been the best of my life. Words cannot describe how thankful I am for all that Mrs. Andrea Duffin and her staff have helped me to achieve, and all the amazing opportunities that she has provided me with. Teaching at South Jersey Ballet School for the past several years under the direction of Andrea Duffin has been an absolute honor and a privilege. Andrea has dedicated her entire life to ballet, but better yet she has dedicated herself to teaching children the very best practices. As Andrea's rehearsal assistant, I work with her very closely. I am constantly blown away by her knowledge of the body, the history of dance, her creative choreography, and her positive rapport with children.
