I see good psychotherapy as a collaborative process guided by your needs. I strongly believe that individuals and families have inherent strengths that can help them deal effectively with their problems and make meaningful change. However, many people are too busy or too overwhelmed to figure out what changes they would like to make or to develop the strengths needed to make those changes.

Fortunately, we've learned a lot in recent years about creating change--psychological, emotional, and behavioral. When you come in, we will work together to decide what changes you want to make and how. Depending on your needs and preferences, we may work for a short time (8 to 12 sessions) or a much longer time.
Services
Credentials : I am trained as a Clinical Psychologist to provide psychological assessment and treatment to individuals, couples, families, and groups. I am licensed by the State of Texas. As a psychologist I do not prescribe medication; I am, however, willing to work with your physician or psychiatrist to ensure that you receive comprehensive mental health care.
A partial listing of my rates includes $120 per 50-minute session; $200 for the initial evaluation which will require more time. Rates for other services such as couples therapy are available on request. I take a very limited number of insurances. I will provide you with a statement so you may file and obtain payment for your out-of-network benefits.

Dr. Calvert has been just wonderful, seeing me through 4 years of "finding myself" and getting me on the road to excellent mental health. I saw her first following an auto accident for PTSD and continued with her as I reclaimed my life, examining other areas of my being and bringing them to either fruition or finding peace in where I found myself. As the previous poster stated, she brought me literally back to life. You could not find a better, more caring and effective therapist.
