MODERN EXPRESSIONS is a friendly, relaxing full-service salon, with special expertise in hair color and hair extensions. Every member of our staff is fully trained and experienced in color techniques. In fact, we perform more color services in a day than most salons do in a week. We love helping clients' hair color dreams come true.
At our salon we can make your hair curly by performing wave service and we can make you hair straiten using "La-Braziliana" Brazilian straitening system. In both procedure we use natural cosmetics. Girls with wavy, curly, kinky, or nappy hair: Finally there is a solution! It's the latest trend and fad that all the celebrities are doing.

Gosha is a godsend, I am so glad to have found her. I cant believe its only taken me 40+ some years to find the best hair stylist ever. She is experienced, talented, honest and fair, and will not lead you astray on your hair just to make a dollar. I was growing a pixie in and wanted extensions and she worked with me to the point where I was able to have them placed beautifully. You know how your hair is always "in between" when growing in a cut? Well never once did I have a bad hair day while growing in the pixie. Gosha kept it cut so perfectly that every transitional style to get to the length

Came to see Goscia twice - for the haircut and highlights. The highlights came out pretty good - some part are missing but i can live with that. However the haircut job was done horribly. I had long hair, asked for some layers - to give me a volume on top. She literally chopped off my hair with a previous comment "it's just a hair, i'm not cutting off your arm". When i came back to her to fix the haircut she made it even worse - like it was done on purpose - the right side she cut way shorter then the left side. I went to a different salon to fix the haircut - the hairdresser showed how uneven

I've been searching for YEARS for a good hair stylist and I'm so happy I found Gosia!! She's the sweetest woman I've ever met and so Down to earth. We had such a nice conversation while getting my hair colored and cut. I never had so many compliments on my hair. I was sooo happy with how it came out it was exactly what I wanted. I've been searching for several years for a new hair stylist and have finally found her - Gosha!!! Firstly, she is so incredibly nice and unlike a few other salons I've been to in Bergen county, you don't feel uncomfortable in a pretentious atmosphere. She makes me feel so welcome and is down to earth while always makes me laugh.
Her skills are amazing! I have fine hair and she knows how to cut it to make it look it's best. She also does my color and my hair has been the healthiest it's been in a long time. She listens to your ideas and explains what she's doing throughout the process. She likes

I've been going to this salon about 5 months. A friend told me about Gosia, and this friend always had nice looking hair, so I decided to check out the salon. I had so many compliments on my first hair cut from Modern Expressions. I have since also had color and highlights done at the salon. It all looks great! Gosia is truely an artist. I highly recommend this salon and stylist.
