Services
As a family owned and operated local business, we have a very personal approach to serving our customers. Purchasing a home may be the single, largest investment a family can make. At Trapco Inspections, our goal is to go above and beyond with our service. We take our time to answer your questions and educate you on the property your are purchasing.
At Trapco Inspections, our home inspections cover all major systems and components of the home. We include the use of a state-of-the-art thermal imaging camera that can detect hidden moisture and potential electrical problems at no additional charge. Our Home Inspections also include, at no additional charge, a wind mitigation report and permit reports.
Many lurking problems can be uncovered with a thermal camera because the temperature differences can be a clue to a large problem in the home. Undetected issues cause can cost you thousands of dollars in damage and even serious illness. A home inspection without thermal imaging is quite frankly a visual inspection only and without thermal imaging, many very expensive issues could go undetected and become a potential buyers nightmare.
A double tapped circuit breaker is when two wires (conductors) are connected to one specific circuit breaker or one terminal on the same circuit breaker. With two wires connected to the same breaker or terminal, the circuit breaker could overheat. If the two wires are not fastened tightly enough, this could result in arcing.
I rarely leave reviews, but was so impressed with Trapco's service and detailed inspection report that I just had to. We are purchasing a two home property that needs a lot of TLC. Mike took his time and made sure to cover every detail and included many pictures to support his comments. His professional suggestions really helped to put everything into perspective for us.

I called Michael while I was in NY and asked him to inspect a house we were considering buying. My conversations with him and Stacy were both professional and friendly, putting me at ease and earning my trust from miles away. We had a super tight schedule and needed the inspection to happen asap and Trapco got right on it and produced a detailed review of the property with clear recommendations for repair. We can now close "on time" and confidently move into our new home. Thanks for the great work!

My first contact was with Staci, whose friendly voice and knowledge of home inspections made me feel like i've known her for years. I really appreciated that Mike took the time to pause during our home inspection and explain to us what he was looking for without making us feel as though we were impeding or interfering during his inspection. He also gave us some pointers and ideas of updates and changes we could make to our potential home.
