Spacious apartments in great location having access to any stores. good community with incredible amenities, multiple grills, outdoor furniture, tennis field with projectors to play at night and a good gym. The only big issue is with the maintenance, they either not come or fix the issue after 3 4 weeks. We ended up learning how to repair the sink ourselves after multiple requests and no one showing up.

My husband and I moved here from California recently and we have nothing but good things to say about the unit, complex/community and management. It is conveniently located near the major highways, grocery stores and UofM campus. We highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking to move to the Ann Arbor area!

I relocated in Ann Arbor nine months ago. While visiting different apartments for rent, The Emerson was the only one that had the best apartments layout, price and optimal conditions. Once I moved in the management team has been great and before COVID they hosted monthly events/parties for community integration. Looking forward for these activities re-start once everything gets back to normal. The couple of times my apartment has required maintenance the staff shows up and solve immediately. The gym, pool and common areas are great. I highly recommend The Emerson in Ann Arbor!

I’ll preface that we’ve only lived here a month, but I can’t imagine that my opinion will vary too much from this review. We live in the 2 bedroom layout with the extended balcony to give context to this review.
From the search and signing process to now, we can’t say better things about the staff here. Mariam was super helpful with our (million) questions and we always received quick responses. Once we moved in, staff continued to be supportive and attentive. We had a few minor maintenance issues that they’ve come out within a day or two for each of those and have been professional

I had previously written a very positive review. Since then I have moved out of state. I have been waiting for my security deposit refund. I was told it takes 30 days (are there that many people moving out?). It is now 2 weeks over that date and I know only that the manager referred the matter to “AP”. Then she went on vacation and no one else in the office is aware of the situation. I always paid money I owed on time. I only ask for the same consideration, which is overdue. Where is my deposit??

We have been living at the Emerson for almost a year. The office girls are great! The office manager is always helpful and friendly and ready to assist in your needs. Maintenance does a great job. Mark especially is friendly and will love your pet. My dog jumps right into his cart for his ear rubs and dog biscuits . They have been working very hard on renovation. We are close to everything witch I love. Angie

It is definitely a great place, but a bit pricey.
I stayed there for a year at a ground level 1 bedroom. It includes great amenities and features. Very spacious and large windows. It also comes with free carport, which was nice. However, the only disadvantage I had was the electric bill was a bit higher than I expected. I had something like 50-70 dollar during summer+fall and 150-200 during winter. I programmed the heater to be efficient too like I usually kept the heater off during the day and lowered it after midnight but still, I think, it was higher than normal. This isn't super expensive

Wish I had the option to rate it 0. We paid them 500$ security deposit and signed the lease while moving in. Upon vacating the apartments, they said we will get the security deposit back. It’s been 5 months since we moved out and they still haven’t paid our deposit back. I have called them at least 10 times to follow up and each time they say they… don’t have it in their records. The management doesn’t have any ethics. I have told all my friends to never consider this property. All this happened after “Village Green” management took our signature club

I looked at the apartments and i really liked it..i just wish they wasnt so expensive 2 get in...rent is really high...and the 2 bedroom lay out was nice only thing i didnt like was that the balcony should b in the master bedroom and not in the second bedroom..besides that and the high rent i really like it...
