Since 1953, Mid-Island Medical Supply, a family-owned and operated company, has been Long Island's premier provider of home medical equipment and supplies. Located in Wantagh, Mid-Island services home health agencies, physicians, nurses, private pay individuals, industrial agencies and other healthcare entities via contracts and bids.
Mid-Island Medical Supply offers a wide range of services in order to better serve our clients. We accept Medicare and Medicaid and are a preferred provider for most health insurance companies in the region. For non-participating insurance companies, we'll make every effort to assist you in submitting a claim.
We're available for emergency after-hours deliveries on nights and weekends. Tried to use these guys several times for my mother despite the horrible customer service and total incompetence of the staff, ESPECIALLY the manager. Always had the same exact experience here. They speak to you like a dog and show zero concern or effort when it comes to helping you find what you are looking for. The manager is beyond nasty, even when unprovoked. These people should not be in any business related to helping those in need because they obviously couldn't care less. Wish there was an option for zero stars for this review. Luckily, there are plenty of other surgical supply places around

So I called this place and asked for something specific and was told over the phone they had the item. Drove 20 minutes to get there and waited 10 minutes for the 1 person helping at the counter. After 10 more minutes she goes next door to get the item only to come back and tell me that the box was filled with something else. Wow. Really. Thank you for not valuing your customers.
