I received my Masters in Psychology from the New School for Social Research in New York City in 1983. I have a Post masters Specialist degree in Psychology, in Marriage and Family Therapy, from Spaulding University, Louisville, KY, in 1986. I managed a mental health center satellite office in New Albany, Indiana for 15 years.
I additionally, provided supervision for Masters and Doctoral level Marriage and Family Therapists from local colleges. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Kentucky and a clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. I am a part of a family therapy training group with the late Dr. Carl Whitaker, one of the founders of family systems therapy, from the Southern Ohio Family Institute, 1988-1993.
