I found my dress through Ava Laurenne in Fredericksburg, Virginia. They provided a list of recommended companies for alterations, and the top choice was My's Bridalterations. I'm currently eloping with my fiancé on 12/28, and My was professional and positive about the short timeframe. My fittings were done on 12/02 and 12/14 - the appointments were not even 30 minutes, and My was so attentive. I've been to many different alteration places for formal wear and this is my first time going to My's. Just overall disappointed, her prices are high and she didn't even iron the clothes before I picked it up. I had 3 pieces altered and they were all wrinkly. I've never been to an alteration place that didn't iron my clothes afterwards.

I ordered this dress online so there was a moment of "this is not how it looked online" that caused me panic. I'm so grateful for My and her hard work. Not only did she pin me on 10 mins and give me some hope, she also added cups, a bustle, and reconstructed the whole front without compromising the lace. I have gotten so many compliments on how wonderful my dress was and I know it's all thanks to My!!

My performed fabulous work on my wedding dress to make it just right. I got my dress off the rack and it did not need much to it. My was able to shorten the straps, add a bustle, and add ribbing for support all at a reasonable price. She also created a custom made veil using lace off my mom's wedding dress that was just beautiful! Overall I was very pleased with her service.

My was amazing! Her shop is so cute and her service was great. She is very good at what she does. My dress was too long and my straps were too big. She fixed both of those and put a bustle on my dress. Her pricing is fair. HIGHLY recommend!

My dress was ordered online and was not a try on and go dress. I was so nervous because I fell in love with my dress in pictures then felt no spark when I tried it on. I found My on WeddingWire and she eased any and all hesitations I had. In 10 mins, she had pinned my dress and I could see the beginning of life being breathed into it. I had three fitting appointments total and each time, My over anticipated what my concerns would be by already addressing them. I had a great experience with My's Bridalterations! My dress came in just 2 months before my wedding, so I was very worried that I wouldn't be able to get it altered in time. I did research on what my options were in the area prior to choosing My's because I wanted good quality work at a reasonable price . My came was a recommendation when my friend and I needed our dresses altered for her wedding and I've been coming to My ever since. She's quick, efficient, and decently priced. Her work is impeccable and everything I've ever had altered comes out exactly how I want it. There was one time I dropped off a dress about 10 days before a wedding (I know, very close deadline) and she completed it with time to spare! I mean, seriously you cannot find a better tailor. I highly recommend My to everybody. She does alterations for wedding dresses & casual wear. She's my go-to girl! :)
