We believe in family first, laughing always, and making sure we get to have at least one nice piece of dark chocolate a day. BeFitted provides end-to-end wedding dress services from taking your measurements to order your dress, to highly-specialized tailoring to get the perfect fit of your dress, to preserving your dress after the party is over. Try on the dress again for the second fitting. We'll get you in again, make sure the the fit is still good, and walk you through some finishing touches like steaming and pressing.
BeFitted can get you snazzied up so you'll be look and feeling picture perfect at your next wedding/special event! Pick up your party-ready dress! On your pick-up day, we'll have you try the dress on again for us, in all it's newly-fitted glamour. Outstanding any additional changes, you should be able to take the dress with you that day!
Book your dress drop-off appointment online. We welcome all brides to use our cleaning/preservation service regardless of where they had their original alterations. The dress is packaged up! Once the dress is cleaned, we will either steam it and put it back in the garment bag for you, or have it placed in a special preservation box.
We get so many questions about product recommendations that we decided that we would put them all in one place for your quick reference and browsing (also sparing you from trying to decode our chicken-scratch scribbles in-studio, hah!). We generally do not recommend bodysuits or anything with straps unless you are 100% sure you will have complete coverage (the straps always end up showing!).

I had a great experience with BeFitted. My dress and alterations came out perfectly. I had scheduled super early due to covid and I had never even been to the shop or area. I was welcomed in and my dress fit perfectly. They were very responsive and I had requested another appointment due to losing weight and they quickly accommodated my request. I highly recommend! Do not take your dress here. They are careless and expensive. I was rushed to make an appointment early because of the pandemic and they didn't know how long they were going to be open or how long it was going to take to make alterations.
I was rushed during the appointment because they had overbooked clients and had multiple brides in the salon at the same time. I barely had time to put the dress on before I was rushed to give you my credit card. The time spent analyzing the dress was not sufficient and the seamstress was moving too fast and was not listening to what I wanted to do with the dress

I can't say enough kind things about Michelle and Diane -- they are WONDERFUL! My wedding dress was far too big for me when I brought it in and they basically had to remake the entire dress. It was a lot of work for them but they made sure that it fit me perfectly. I also asked them (mere weeks before my wedding) to remove the massive train off the back of my gown. They were more than happy to do it and gave me the dress of my dreams. I would absolutely recommend them for alterations!

Absolutely wonderful service and beautiful work! Having a very simple dress, I wasn’t sure what it needed prior to my wedding day, but these women knew exactly what I needed! They were supportive of the vision I had and helped make my dress fit my shape and my personality perfectly. I used this shop for my wedding dress alterations. While this place was wonderful in most respects, a few things that I think they could improve on.
I felt the prices were a bit steep compared to other shops. They were also very strict on COVID precautions not letting anyone coming in with me for my fittings. This is understandable but at the same time, we were all vaccinated and would have remained masked. I only get married once, I wish I could have had my mom or close friend enjoy that moment with me. From beginning to end, Befitted Tailoring provided great customer service and made my wedding dress fit like a glove! They took COVID very seriously (which I was glad) but still provided top notch service. Instructions were always clear and I felt informed about everything from how they were going to make the alterations to pricing to drop off and pick up for cleaning the dress. Highly recommend!

Michelle and Diane were a dream to work with. They are super friendly, professional, and extremely organized. They answered my questions before I was able to ask them! My dress was a lot bigger than I thought it was (yay tulle!) but Diane was able to bustle it beautifully and Michelle gave me a diagram to help when I have to do it on the day. They have great protocols for COVID and even though I couldn't bring anyone with me to see the dress, they both made me feel like I wasn't missing out on that. I brought in my maid of honor dress pretty last minute as I procrastinated trying it on. The dress fit fairly well, however it was very low cut and there was too much cleavage. The material is pretty delicate so I wasn't sure if anything could be done.
The shop is cutely decorated and clean. They are taking all the COVID precautions and have you wash your hands when you arrive and also wear a mask.

I cannot recommend BeFitted Tailoring enough. My dress was fit to perfection; after my first appointment, I had no doubt in my mind that my dress would be perfect for the big day, and it was. I was very worried about going bra-less, and BeFitted also hooked me up with tape. I was so insanely comfortable all night and I have never felt more confident in a dress. I came here during COVID-19 timeframe and they have been amazing helping me with my dress alteration. I got a customer wedding gown which came out to be super big. The mother and daughter duo were extremely helpful and really knew what they were doing.
The logistics of the appointment was seamless and everything is by appointment only.
I really appreciate how they only take one customer at a time and let's you wash your hands prior to the start of your appointment. They were patient enough to reschedule my first appointment because I was not feeling well and had to cancel last minute.

BeFitted has been amazing to work with! I honestly can't praise them enough! They have done such a great job keeping me and others safe in their store during COVID. Everything is clean and everyone is masked.

Diane and Michelle are both wonderful to work with! My initial fitting was in February 2020 and I immediately fell in love with their space upon walking in. The whole appointment was quick and easy. I tried on my dress, explained what I thought it needed and they made some excellent suggestions as well. Both of them were helpful, super friendly and made the experience special. These two women are FABULOUS!! They were complete saviors for me when it came to altering my dress. I found them online and saw all the positive reviews--contacted them ASAP but didn't realize they usually like to see you at least 4 months before your wedding date. Aside from actually marrying my husband, working with Michelle and Diane was the absolute best part of the entire wedding process. I was so nervous about buying a dress that was clearly many sizes too big for me, and they transformed it completely--adding cups, taking up the shoulders, adjusting the waist, literally hemming feet off of it, adding a bustle, and more--making me fall in love with my dress.

I drove down from Philadelphia specifically to get my dress tailored by this wonderful mother-daughter duo. I was under a time crunch- got my dress in June and needed it in July! And my dress was all lace, an incredibly difficult tailoring situation- but it turned out BEAUTIFULLY, and they were so easy to work with and kind. My wedding dress turned out absolutely gorgeous, the details they suggested were just what I needed to take it over the top.

Even though their web site specifically states they do alterations on formal wear; even though I made my appointment on-line on their web site and wrote in detail what I needed done; even though I agreed to their non cancellation policy .... BeFitted Tailoring refused to alter my Feraud cocktail suit....
They were rude, arrogant and dismissive.....
For some reason my designer suit did not meet their criteria for formal wear .... or perhaps they didn't like me....
