Hidden Stream Counseling was formed by Tanya St. Julien and Mark Harol to bring quality counseling to the Raleigh Metropolitan area and the student populations within the Inner Beltline. Tanya and Mark met while working at an inpatient psychiatric hospital in Raleigh. They soon realized they had a common vision and passion for helping others.
Accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Aetna, Tricare, Magellan, United Healthcare, and MHN insurances and Private Pay. Tanya is a Licensed Professional Counselor currently located in Raleigh, NC. She is a Native of Lafayette, LA and has spent time counseling and training in Louisiana and Texas.
Tanya received her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2006 and her Master's Degree from Argosy University in Dallas, TX in 2010.She has worked with adults, adolescents, couples, and families from various demographics with and without mental illness since 2007 and individuals struggling with substance abuse issues since 2010.

Mark received a BA degree in human services at the University of Connecticut. He received his MS degree in Professional Counseling at Central Connecticut State University. He is a member of the American Counseling Association, the American Association of Christian Counselors, and The American Board of Christian Sex Therapists.
Donna Helen is a psychiatric clinical nurse specialist in Raleigh, NC. She received her nursing education (BSN, MSN) at UNC Chapel Hill and has been a licensed and board certified psychiatric clinical nurse specialist (CNS) since 1997. Donna Helen has worked with adolescents, adults of all ages, and couples in Asheville and Raleigh, in the client's home, assisted living, in hospitals, long-term care facilities, home health, and private practice.
Sarah Stevens is a licensed clinical social worker located in Raleigh, North Carolina. She graduated from UNC-School of Social Work with a Master's of Social Work in 2003, and attained her full clinical licensure in 2005. Sarah gained experience working with families and adolescents at the Institute for Family-Centered Services in Raleigh, and honed her Spanish language skills when she joined the Teach for America Corps.
