The amount of cake needed varies per customer and depends on the details of your event. If you are going to have other desserts, you can choose to reduce the number of servings of your cake. However, if the cake will be the only dessert served, you will need to order cake for the number of guests attending your event.

Absolutely horrible service. We had hired them to make a cake and cake pops for my niece's first birthday party. The owner decided to let us know the day of the party that the staff has COVID and no one will be able to deliver the cakes. We had offered to pick them up ourselves to which they refused. We had to scramble the day of the party to find alternative desserts and they refused to refund us $250 for cakes we DID NOT receive. Do not waste your time or money on this disgusting, rude, unprofessional place.

I wish I could give this place no stars. They cancelled the day of my daughters 1st birthday party. They weren't responding to me at all when they cancelled. I had no cake for my daughters first birthday. They charged my card when I had no order. We were not able to sing to my daughter because we had no time to get a replacement cake, given they let us know 2 hours before. This place needs to get shut down they are scamming multiple people and getting away with it. Please DO not go here.

How did these people open a second location??? Please do not order from Delicity Cakes in Roselle or Addison. They are the most unprofessional cake shop ever. You can read my review I left at their Roselle location. Please don't risk being left without a cake for your event. What a coincidence, I was dealing with Abel for my cake order; and Abel and Mr. Abelito are the ones giving this shop the 5 stars. These 5 star reviews are FAKE, they are giving themselves 5 stars.

I don't want to say they ruined my sons birthday because he still has a blast; but it broke my heart when he asked "mom where's my cake?" This shop asured me and confirmed my cake would be ready on time for my sons birthday party; day of the party 30 minutes before the party started I received a call saying their decorator had quit and they needed an extra

We are so pleased with the quality and detail on their cakes.
We needed two cakes within a two day period and they were more than willing to make it happen.
When we picked up the cakes they were PHENOMENAL! They far exceeded our expectations.
CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ALSO PHENOMENAL!!
We will be using them in the future and I will be recommending Delicity to our friends, family and colleagues!

Not impressed and not worth the $145 we were charged. When we first walked in, felt good, the gentleman that helped was very nice and the display cakes looked awesome. Communication after was not the best, I received a text at 11:30pm the night before I was supposed to pick my order up, luckily I was up to answer. Our cake had the wrong name on it, they had our last name instead of the cakes recipient, which was written on the order form. The cake had a black "smudge" mark on the side, and you can tell an error was made where Happy Birthday was written and they "fixed" it

I reached out to someone via text message telling them what cake I wanted I even sent a picture. I specifically asked for the same cake in the picture except white, buttercream frosting, and strawberry filling. When I arrived to pick up the cake I realized they had made it pink instead of white how I had requested. This cake was for my husbands birthday. They immediately put white frosting over it to cover the pink. I then realized later that night it definitely had strawberry filling but with loads of strawberries and the frosting wasn't even buttercream. I was excited to taste the cake but

The detail, attention, and overall quality of the cake was EVERYTHING we could have ever wanted! My mom was so surprised and loved the detail on the cake and shoe. The cake itself was delicious.. red velvet and not too sweet! The perfect amount of sweetness!
The owner took a very thorough intake in what I wanted, and she called while making it to make sure it was what I wanted.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars!! This place was amazing! We did our tasting for our wedding cake here and it was so very hard to pick what flavors we wanted because they were all so delicious! There were so many flavors to choose from. We met with the owner who was just great and answered all of our questions. This is hands down the best cake I have ever eaten! The employee at the front desk was also really pleasant. Oh, and if you don't need a cake, they have cupcakes available for same day purchase!

Oh My Gosh!!! This place is a diamond in the rough. While not the easiest place to locate, the cake quality, design and flavors are on point. My husband and I recently order a cake from this location for our baby shower. Having tried a few other bakeries, this was our final attempt at finding a bakery as the other bakeries (which shall remain nameless) we tried were horrible. Not only was the design amazing, but the cake and the filling were spectacular. Definitely check this place out, I know for any future events that requires a special cake, we'll definitely get it from here!!!!!

My Bridal Shower cake not only looked spectacular but tasted so yummy!!! My favorite layer was coconut passion fruit flavor! Monica has such a creative group of people who do amazing job! Thank you for making this cake the highlight of our party! Guests thought it was arrangement of boxes with real flowers, but it turned out to be this delicious amazing looking cake!

So disappointed that Medinah recommends this place for weddings. I will make sure to tell them about our experience. My sister is getting married in September so we went to Delicity for a cake testing and arrive to a woman smoking a cigarette staring at us, she eventually looked at us and said 'oh you're here for the tasting?' Then threw her cigarette on the floor and walked inside. Every idea we had, she said it was a terrible idea and would not even give us a quote for what we wanted. All she kept saying what her cupcakes are the best and was flaunting how expensive it is..while

I had excellent experience with Delicity Cakes. I've ordered last minute delivery order for client surprise sweets. Cupcakes turned out perfect and were delivered promptly on time. Also it was highly pleasant experience to work with the owner.

Just catching up with some reviews. We ordered a cake from them for a family members' anniversary a few months ago. To our dismay the cake and filling were not what we ordered. They even failed to spell the name of the bride correctly. When my mother went back to get some of her money refunded to her (there were options ordered on the cake at an added cost that were not fulfilled), she was treated very unprofessionally. The employee, I think her name was Monica (owner or manager?) was very rude and argumentative when my mother pointed out the errors and asked to be reimbursed for the extra

I can't even believe anyone would have anything bad to say about this place!!! My bridal shower was earlier today and I have a house full of gifts and instead of unpacking those, I needed to write this review.
My cake today was STUNNING!!! It was everything I wanted and more. I brought in a picture and they replicated it completely. But more importantly, it was the most delicious red velvet cake I've ever had. My guests were raving about it and I hope I just gave them a ton of business because they deserve it.
I will undoubtedly be a loyal customer from this point forward!!!
