The Housedoctors Home Inspectors have over 2 decades of full time experience inspecting homes in Chicago, Schaumburg, and the surrounding suburbs. By covering a large geographical area, we are able to better serve our customers. It also gives us an opportunity to inspect structures of various ages and styles.

Roofing is one of those areas that may not be very visible from afar. What an amazing inspection process. My husband and I are moving from Indiana area to Zephyrhills FL and made an offer on a property site unseen. I flew in to be present for the inspections and The House Doctors work with my very limited schedule with no hesitation. Had an inspection done on a condo I'm purchasing, and will say Mr. Carlberg was very thorough. He's very professional and honest about his assessment. He's good about answering any questions you may have, and in the RARE occurrence you have a question he can't answer, he'll tell you honestly. When purchasing a new home, the inspection is really stressful and yet one of the most important steps. Tom, our Housedoctors inspector, made the process easy. He was very thorough in his inspection but what was nice is he explained his notes and thinking about each potential issue he saw. Fortunately most of the issues were minor but he took the time to discuss each one and even how to fix them! It was very comforting.
