True Home Inspections, Inc. is owned and operated by Lucas Weigle. Lucas has a passion for homes and for finding out what makes them tick. Based in Arlington Heights, we proudly serve the Chicagoland area and surrounding suburbs 7 days a week. As the owner of a 1927 bungalow and having searched for over two years for the perfect home for his own family, Lucas knows the anxiety and excitement that comes from making a home purchase.
With True Home Inspections, Inc. our clients are encouraged to accompany the inspector throughout the inspection and to ask questions. A typical inspection takes between 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Clients will receive a customized report emailed to them within 24 hours of inspection. Reports include easy to read bullet points of all inspection items, color photos and a summary of main focus items.

What can I say about Lucas... TOTAL HACK!!!!! He showed up to my home didn't introduce himself, didn't give a business card or show any ID. He allowed his personal insecurities to get in the way of his professional obligation and stopping his inspection midway through because he felt uncomfortable the owners of the house were present and being observant of his actions. What a coincidence that this yahoo stopped his inspection mid way through and left and then my garagedoor opener decides to stop working property after he fidgeted with it costing me over $600 to replace, a financial burden not needed

We selected True Home Inspections from a friend’s referral and the notes on Lucas’ construction background for our future fixer-upper home. He responded quickly and was really helpful during the inspection when we had questions about anticipated costs so we could go back to the seller with requests for repair or credit. We also were able to ask general cost questions on staining floors, bathroom, and kitchen upgrades we planned to do. Would definitely recommend him to others.

Great Service, Great Investment! We have hired Lucas to perform two home inspections. For both, he was responsive and accommodating for scheduling, performed expert/thorough inspections, and created an informative report in a timely manner. Both times, we really enjoyed walking through the houses with Lucas and learning about the construction and maintenance considerations. His construction background provides extensive and valuable knowledge. A+, highly recommend!

Lucas did an excellent job throughout the entire home inspection process. He was very thorough and made sure to explain his findings to us in great detail both in person and in his detailed report that was available to us within hours after the inspection was complete. Lucas was punctual and able to fit us in for our inspection even on short notice. The report that was provided was very detailed with clear photos and also helped us prioritize what needed to be addressed immediately and what could wait. I am confident that he did a very thorough inspection and would definitely recommend his company

I highly recommend Lucas from True Home Inspections! Lucas was awesome to work with. He was very thorough and explained to us many of the features of the home that we would otherwise not have known. He took the time to answer all of our questions. Best home inspector ever! Lucas did two home inspections for me and he was on time, extremely detailed and thorough, and very knowledgeable. He was pleasant to work with as well. His inspection report is amazing and he gets it over to you same day. We bought a house many years ago and the inspector we used then was really bad. I highly recommend Lucas, you will not be dissapointed!
