Despite it being a historic property, the room was clean and smelled fresh. I was worried it may be dingy like some other hotels I've been to that are old. The front desk service was amazing. Bill welcomed us and was overly helpful and friendly. We also dealt with the owner on a couple of occasions. He was incredibly pleasant as well. The location is perfect, reasonably priced. We will definitely be back!

THE GOOD: Great location and the innkeepers are beyond friendly and welcoming. Rooms are clean, the price is also right, but the building is older and can definitely stand some TLC (fixing up cracked walls, upgrading furnishings -- more comfortable beds, and adding better lighting will improve the overall dated feeling).
THE NOT-SO-GOOD: One serious and much needed improvement would be adding better ventilation. The room AC units are noisy and beyond inefficient, and remembering this is Florida and humidity is omnipresent, the fact that the bathrooms currently have no exhaust fans is a point of

Located near downtown and just a short distance from the waterfront, several museums and great restaurants... this neat, clean boutique hotel has antique furnishings, small flat-screen TVs, minifridges and free Wi-Fi. They provide a complimentary continental breakfast, evening happy hours (beer, wine, water) and limited on-site parking right next to the building.
Owners--hosts, Stephanie & Brian were exuberant, informative, polite, and helpful.
While you might describe the small rooms as little tired and a bit worn ... the queen bed was supportive of our travel-weary bodies and soft

It's a cute idea but way over priced.
The woman owner is very rude and condescending . The air in our room was awful we had it down to 70 and it didn't work and she kept saying "did you have it on heat?" We started mentioning there was a red light and she interrupted up and said "that has nothing to do with anything. Did you have the heat on?"
We also mentioned that the toilet ran all night. We drove in and had to check in Late so there was no one to call. She actually told us how we "could have fixed it" by jiggling the handle until it stopped... as

I loved this place! We stayed there two times, one for an anniversary. The couple that manages the place are very nice and great to talk to. They have happy hour with wine at night and breakfast in the morning. The place has an older charm to it we absolutely love. Hope to come back again! It's also in a perfect spot in St Pete, great walking distance go downtown.

Great quaint historic hotel. Staff was great. Parking available. Location is close enough to downtown you can easily walk to see the major sights. Nice light continental breakfast. Filtered water, coffee and hot water available all day. Bonus social time from 5-7 with first wine or beer on the house.
Will definitely stay again on my next trip to St. Pete.

My boyfriends parents stayed here while visiting from North Port. We just helped them get checked in but during that short 5 minute experience I was pretty impressed with this place. They're super welcoming and make you feel at home right away. It's quaint and charming and the rooms are humble but still reminiscent of the years gone by. You receive a complimentary beer/glass of wine with check in to enjoy pretty much anywhere. Any after that are only two dollars with an honor system keeping you in check. So cute. You can't beat the location and like I said the staff is very professional
