Services
Shop our beer, wine and liquor departments for extraordinary variety and value. Some products carry our private labels, others carry the labels they wear in their native lands, but all are exclusively ours in the U.S. So now you can raise a glass to "Incredible Value Every Day". Our beers are sourced from Holland, Germany, and Latin America, as well as right here in Michigan.
Autumn is a wonderful time to sit back, relax and crack open a bottle of wine to sip and savor as the days slowly grow shorter, the temperature cooler and the leaves more colorful. This time of year calls for rich, heavy wines that are strong enough to match the heartier dishes served to warm you during cold weather.
Our Meat Departments' never ending commitment is to provide you with the freshest cuts of meat and ground beef available. Our large meat department staff works day and night to give you, our guests, the highest quality USDA approved meats around. 8 Mile Foodland never adds chemicals or extra ingredients to our meats to make them stay fresh longer.
Our produce department buys the absolute best fruits and vegetables from local farms, around the country and beyond in bulk and makes them available to you at our everyday low prices. Watch for seasonal favorites as they become available. We source products right from Michigan farms when we can. Throughout our stores you'll discover thousands of products from Michigan farmers, growers and processors.
At 8 Mile Foodland, we've chosen to carry a select product range of about 1,300 of your favorite everyday grocery and household items-saving you money. Every grocery item 8 Mile Foodland sells is top quality, adhering to stringent specifications that meet or exceed USDA standards, earning us the same ratings as the big national brands.

I give this local, neighborhood store five stars because I shop here regularly and the store is ALWAYS clean and odor-free which is a lost characteristic of many smaller stores. Prior to Covid they were always well stocked, and for the most part, continue to to be. If items are sold out, it's a logistics issue because everyone responsible for stocking shelves is busy doing that whenever I'm there. They have a decent wine selection and on occasion, some nicely priced organic produce selections. They carry Amish chicken, butter, and organic eggs at decent price points. This store is a lifesaver

Be sure to check your expiration dates. Quite a few times I noticed some of the items I purchased were expired. The lines move pretty quickly. Be sure to purchase your fruit and vegetables elsewhere. The fruit is "pre-packaged". I am not a fan of not being able to pick out my own fruit. Prices are nice and cheap.

Stopped in the neighborhood store to get some bread, to find bare shelves, molded bread and very limited pricing on items or on shelves .

This grocery store is nice.... and meat section is very clean.... their meats are fresh. What I like most about them is that they were open on Christmas day....when I needed a couple last minute items to make my Christmas dinner no problem, 8 mile foodland saved the day! 👍👍

Foodland is an excellent place to shop. The shelves are always well stocked. You can always find what you're looking for and the aisles are easy to navigate. If there is something that you want that they don't have, ask the manager, he will get it sent to the store for you. The produce is always fresh and in good supply. To me, it is right up there with Kroger's and rest of the food stores.

I have been coming to Foodland for many years and I like the store but some prices are too high, and 4 times I have got bad fish from them!! I will not buy fish from them anymore.. They beef is to high in prices as well!! Now I have noticed the shelves are dirty and I think they should clean them ASAP because some customers like myself do look at that.. I still do shop at the store because some things they have are good like they chicken prices..

Clean store, & great prices. I was apprehensive about shopping there but as soon as I walked in, DEALS! Brand name deals! Who knew? I thought this place was going to be like Save-A-Lot (can't stand that store) but it's actually like Farmer Jack's from wayyyy back! I will shop here again..

I'm been coming here for years! Never had any trouble with the meat and no matter the holiday, the cashiers keep the line moving efficiently. The fruit is not always the best looking, but otherwise everything else is reasonably priced.

Good prices. Good service. Good location. Mid-sized grocery store for quick in and out for forgotten supplies or quick dinner ideas. Other convenient services available! They take special care with elders (seniors) and support area organizations and causes.

No complaints here. I generally only shop for steaks (when I need to buy many), pork chops and fresh turkey wings. I've found what I save on meats, I pay for on regular groceries...their prices are a bit higher than your average Kroger. But meat prices can't be beat!

Ok, whenever I go to this store I feel like I'm in the hood. I don't know why but it is what it is. They have good deals and I'm a girl after a good deal. The attitudes of the employees are finicky that's what I don't like about shopping here. But, it quick and close. I recently thought to myself let me get a mega million ticket while I'm here. The lady at the lottery machine never acknowledged me and her coworkers felt a little awkward, so I walked away. I will never buy lottery here. If I wasn't doing a favor for someone I would have left not spend a dime of

On and off, I have visited 8 Mile Foodland for various reasons. Recently, I was out with my mother and one of her friends, and we found ourselves there one evening while gathering ingredients for her church dinner. Granted, I was just along for the ride, so I was not looking for anything in particular. However, I must say, I would be willing to return for my future grocery needs.

One of the first things I noticed about this store is that it is very bright inside. It was dark and after 8pm outside, but it felt like I was in broad daylight in both the parking lot and the store. Second, for a store
