Today more and more people are planning ahead, they believe they want to make the decisions concerning their funeral services. Others want the peace of mind knowing they have the funds to adequately cover the expense and not impose the burden on their family. Most importantly, pre-planning is a well thought out process, there is no urgency to make decisions.
Whether a death is sudden or expected, the loss of a loved one is indescribable. When you are in a heightened emotional state, even the most basic decisions can seem staggering. This section seeks to guide you through the immediate hours following a passing. If the person was not under hospice care, the police will have to be notified immediately.

This is the very first time I have ever been in a funeral home, I had absolutely no idea what to expect. From the moment my brother and I walked into Marinella's I was overwhelmed with how comfortable I felt being there. The occasion that brought me there was sad, but Nick made us feel welcomed and I knew immediately he was going to take care of us.
I asked him plenty of questions, to which he had all of the answers. Throughout the process there was a sense of caring from Nick that put me right at ease. So much so we even had a laugh or two.
His professionalism fell right in step with his compassion
