Beautiful, clean rooms. They have approximately 60’ of ocean beach. It’s a fantastic getaway, but the place is slipping. They offer kayaking,(but ones out of service. Really! Who wants to go kayaking alone?). They offer laundry service, but the washing machine is out of service. There are paddle boards that need attention, and lawn furniture that needs help.
The place is/ could be a 5 star resort, but it is quickly sliding into 1.5 star status.

Quaint and clean location with reasonable fees and comfortable accommodations. Walking distance to local drinking holes and nice restaurants. No bicycles onsite but found some down the road to rent at key cycles. Friendly staff who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Will be back again :)}

Wasn't really new, nor with amenities such as a restaurant, but room was large and clean, and we enjoyed a little kayaking and sunning on their beachfront garden. Note the driveway was a little small and hard to spot. I'd recommend you get over in the turning lane as directed by Google Maps and watch for the mailbox with their name on it. Enter and exit carefully and watch for cars since the lane is narrow. We had a very nice stay.👍

I recently had my wedding at Azul Del Mar and it was spectacular!! The location, the property, and ALL the staff, were absolutely fantastic!! It felt like we were on Key Largo all by ourselves. Within walking distance to some great restaurants. There were kayaks and paddleboards available, along with the most beautiful view of the sunset pretty much from anywhere on the property. Bed was extremely comfortable, best sleep I've had in a long time. We will definitely be back!

Our stay was excellent. We went for Valentine’s Day and I’m so happy that we were able to find this place. The owner was very accommodating and the grounds and room were fantastic. Very clean, very comfortable, and really a unique place in the Keys. The hotel is located right on the water, with amazing sunset views. Very quiet and tranquil. Definitely a hidden gem.

Couldn't ask for a better getaway. Property is not crowded for those worried about crowds and COVID risk. A++ and highly recommend!

A hidden treasure (and gem). Azul Del Mar makes you feel as if you are in an quite oasis away from all the noise yet close enough to the fun the keys has to offer.
Dominic and his team take their hospitality seriously and when you visit, your eyes will show you why.
If you need to relax and get away with access to a private beach, ADM is a place I highly recommend.

Azul De Mar was delightful! We had the best vacation of our lives there! The room was gorgeous, the Royale Suite, with great views of the Gulf thru our bedroom window! The owner and host, Dominic, was very friendly and helpful with things to do and restaurants and a nice tour of the quaint resort! What a relaxing few days, coffee on the private pier and lunch on the shaded deck, conveniently located by our suite- we highly recommend Azul Del Mar!

Azul Del Mar.....velous! We just can't say enough good things about this peacefully quiet, adults only hotel. From the meticulously groomed property, to the wonderful customer service, to the spotlessly cleaned room. Ana was so helpful and put us on some amazing restaurants. We used her local advice in everything we sought to do, and it really paid off.
The cute little private beach was perfect for lounging and taking a dip. At one point we were surrounded by grazing iguanas, all of which were munching on grass while basking in the sun. They maintained a distance and were beautiful to watch

We loved our stay at Azul Del Mar! Dominic and Ana were so kind, and helpful. Our room, Royale, was wonderful. It was spacious, comfortable, and we loved everything there. It was nice to have the kitchenette so we could have snacks, pop popcorn, etc.
The beachfront was a little small, but the pier was fun, and the grounds were beautiful. We loved paddle boarding, and even in the rain it was a delight.
Thank you for a wonderful place to stay--we'll definitely return!

My husband and I stayed at Azul Del Mar while in town for a friends wedding. I booked the garden suite a couple months prior, when we got there around 1:30am our keys and a note were left for us saying they upgraded our room to the royale suite. It was beautiful. The room is bigger than our Chicago apartment. It was clean, spacious, the shower was awesome, and the bed was very comfortable. I highly recommend staying at Azul Del Mar!

I really enjoyed staying at Azul Del Mar. The pictures are exactly how you see it but even better in person. We stayed in the Deluxe Suite which had amazing views of the sunset. It was quiet, relaxing and secluded. There were plenty of hammocks, lounge chairs and a grill. The location was also pretty good with plenty of yummy seafood within a 5-10 minute drive. I can't complain! The service was excellent and personable. I will be back for more R&R.

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon in early September and Azul was perfect! We were a little behind schedule on getting the hotel, Dominic called us to make sure we were okay and if we needed directions. I was already impressed and I haven't even made it the property. You do not get that type of customer service anywhere!

The owner himself took our reservation and the on-site staff worker diligently to make sure everything was just right for our stay. My husband and I wanted a quiet getaway in a picturesque location to unwind for a few days and celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary. This stay exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the Royale suite, which is the most expensive of the suites, but it was well worth it. The suite was spacious with a gorgeous view of the dock and bay. As great as the suite was, that's not what we will remember about this trip. It was the beauty of the grounds and the top notch service we received from the staff that made this trip special.

We enjoyed a vacation with our Parents and stayed a total of 11 nights there. We were very happy with the 'adults only' rule, no running kids and toys, relaxation! If you are travelling with small children, this might not be the place for you. All rooms have maximum occupancy of 2, with the exception of Royale suite, which offers additional bed at additional price. 11 nights is enough to see the good and the bad, so here are some of my tips:

First, I have to say that we BID on Priceline and acquired this "ADULT ONLY" resort. The only problem is we were coming with our non-adult offspring. FYI, when bidding on a hotel, picking an adult only or a family friendly hotel, is never an option. I called the resort after reading this information on the hotel's website. After explaining how I bid and acquired this hotel on Priceline, Dominic gave us the "go signal" to come.

My boyfriend and I needed a hotel to stay in while we were in Key Largo for a wedding. The hotel that hosted the wedding was all booked, so we went searching online for another place to stay. Azul had great reviews and was very reasonable price-wise, so I booked it. We stayed in the La Palma suite.

This is an awesome gem in Key Largo. We had the Royale Suite over looking the ocean. It's a no kids hotel (Amen) where you can just relax and kick back. The landscaping is gorgeous. There are a few hammocks around and a nice little pier. A few little huts you can hang out in also.
The room itself was adorable. Nice little dining space in the very updated kitchen. Bed was super comfy and the bathroom was huge with a very large tub.
Very clean also. I highly recommend this place! It is extremely private and romantic. Just book it you wont regret it.
Oh and the staff is beyond nice!!!!
