Gillian Gorman is an outstanding yoga teacher. Her beginner class was slow, methodical and technical, with excellent progressions and just the right mix of instruction vs. demonstration. As a first class after my thanksgiving gluttony, I really appreciated the core, hips and lower back practice this past friday. The space itself is also excellent. There is a lot of natural light and the spaces on the floor are marked off with tape, so people fit themselves in symmetrically, without having to be told to make room by the teacher before a class starts. I've been an occasional visitor to Yoga

Yoga Great Barrington is lovely place to practice. The roster of teachers are top notch and the space itself is spacious, airy and a bit of a throwback to the times before yoga studios became sterile rectangles. The schedule seems to offer classes for all levels though I tend to go to the intermediate level and restorative classes.

Great little yoga studio in the Berkshires. The teachers and class types are somewhat varied around a general vinyasa style. I have been going here on vacation for years (since it was Berkshire Mountain Yoga). The staff is very friendly and the vibe is very chill. You can take a really good yoga class here whether you are just dropping in on your way through town or planning to stay for a while.
