Services
I come from a family with a propensity towards obesity. I understand the mind set and hard work required to maintain a healthy lifestyle. From the time I was 16 years old, I have lost and gained 50+ pounds multiple times. I tried almost everything - every program - prescription drugs - cosmetic surgery - everything short of stomach stapling.
While we are affiliates for the products and services below and receive small incentives for recommending them, we want you to know that we only endorse products, companies and services in whom we strongly believe. Our friends, clients and members come first in our book. Therefore, we are continually seeking partners who can make a positive difference in the lives of others.
Bungee fitness provides an exquisite blend of core training, cardiovascular training and resistance work-all done with a bungee cord attached to your waist. The workouts are simple (but not necessarily easy), depending on your fitness level. Once "hooked up" to the bungee cord, follow the instructor as they run, jump, dance, squat, lunge, sprint, push-up, plank and perform other resistance training movements.
In each of four sessions, we'll spend a full hour evaluating your personal training needs including (but not limited to) body fat assessment, muscle mass, BMI, balance, strength, endurance and physical activity readiness. This step is essential in helping to create a program that will be safe, effective and efficient.
Heartcode BLS (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers) - The Professional Level CPR certification. This is required for Doctors, Nurses, Healthcare students, EMTs and Paramedics as well as clinical care specialists and lifeguards. Heartsaver CPR/AED - For the layperson this training includes Adult, Child, and Infant education for CPR, AED and choking.

I have been going to My Health Studio for over 8 Months, and I love it. They have a friendly, clean environment and supportive staff. The classes are the best! My favorite Workouts are; A Hearty Jump, Zumba and Just Move For Life. You should defiantly go check it out.
They offer a heart rate monitor you can buy and use doing your class. Using the heart rate monitor will help you find the different heart rate zones for the perfect workout and track how many calories you just burned off.

Scott's enthusiastic jokes, Esta's encouraging and fun style, the group instructors' lively classes, and the other gym members' friendly support altogether create an inclusive and welcoming environment.
What's also great is that there are a variety of classes (Zumba, circuit training, Pilates) and all can be suited for different fitness levels - often instructors will offer suggestions on how to modify a move to be lower or higher impact.
I'll be moving out of the area soon and after 2 and a half years I won't be able to attend anymore, but hope I can

Esta is absolutely terrific when it comes to teaching fitness, helping implement a healthy lifestyle, and making exercise fun. My Health Studio is welcoming and friendly which often fools you into forgetting you're in the midst of an intense work-out with dance music and plenty of smiles. A friend of mine originally turned me onto My Health Studio when I joined her for a dance class here. Ever since then, I’ve been coming back regularly for more dance classes, yoga therapeutics, power pilates, and zumba classes. The owner Esta is the best as she is extremely supportive and helpful and is an awesome teacher. I would recommend this health studio to my friends and anyone in the Westlake Village area who loves to dance.
