We are on a 2-year bike trip and I broke my Surly Ogre’s fork in Orlando. I called shops on a 200 miles radius and City Bike Tampa is the only one who found a solution for me and repaired it super quickly, and changed other parts that I had not been able to change for 6 months. The work on the bike is top quality. They made space in their agenda, understanding the criticality of our situation, and they are super friendly! We are very grateful!!

Location in downtown Tampa offers a unique and much appreciated full service bike shop for bike commuters and casual riders through the City. City Bike hours 10 to 6 during week and 10 to 4 on Saturday, but check website for any hour updates. Bike rentals Monday thru Saturday, one, two and three hours for an enjoyable bike ride to Armature Works, River Walk, and Ybor City. Took a bike maintenance class September 2021 at City Bike taught by Sarah Myhre, Trek Certified Mechanic. Sarah is very knowledgable and patient, and helped us each change a tire on our own bike. She listed out safety tools

Took a new to me bike in with flat tires. They aired them up but recommended replacing. When he took tires off you could see one tube was rotted and the other was splitting. Very knowledgeable and seemed to be priced fairly. Definitely recommend if you need repairs or maintenance on your bike in Tampa. They also do rentals.

I have really enjoyed my visit there. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I came in with an issue where my chain was jumping teeth. They took the bike in the back for about 10 min and got it sorted out. My hybrid bike is riding and shifting like new again. They have also suggested a chain cleaner & lubricant for me as well. Very pleased with this shop. Highly recommend.

The staff was great and very helpful for someone who isn't experienced at city biking or the process of renting from their shop before. The rentals were very fairly priced and we were able to just stop in and rent but they do offer reservation if you book 2 days ahead of time. Bikes were great and a lock and key, as well as a helmet were offered for free with the rental.

I found them online when another big bike shop in tampa was unable to help me, Austin answered my questions on the phone and encountered me to bring my bike is so they could give me a few options, when I brought the bike in he was wearing a mask and welcomed me, he recognized me by my bike I had told him about and promptly put it on a bike work stand to look it over, he completed my bike which was nice and then checked me in along with giving me some great ideas, when I left he told me he would call soon with some ideas and prices, within a few hours I had all I had asked for and more including

Getting the family back into biking during Covid for a fun activity to do together. Well our bikes were in sad shape. Found this amazing bike shop and not only were they super friendly and had everything we needed they took care of us and we were in an out in a flash. They went above and beyond our expectations. Will definitely be back again and recommend to everyone I know.

I was looking to have a custom build of an All City Cycles bike and these guys made the entire process a total breeze. I was even pushing to have certain specs (Tires and Wheels) put on and they explained why for the riding I was doing they had a better option without an up-charge. The bike came out perfect and I would absolutely recommend anyone to use this shop if you're in the area.

What I love about City Bike Tampa is that Kevin, Mario, and Leo meet you where you are and walk you through the process of buying a bike or repairs. I've been to other shops and have left either scratching my head or feeling belittled after being tested on the make and model of every component on my bikes.... What does it matter what kind of jockey wheels I have? I came in here for a inner tube... I digress, my point is bikes are meant to be fun and this team understands that. This place is awesome and I use them every time I'm in town! I have rented probably four or five times in the past few years and have always had a great experience! Mario, and the rest of the team are always very helpful and accommodate me even after hours! One day when I move back to Tampa I'll probably buy a bicycle from here permanently! Treat yourself and rent one for a full 24 hours because it's well worth the money!

This is my go to place for all my biking needs! From renting the perfect bike for my nephew when he comes to visit, all the cool accessories to add to my bike and highly qualified bike service, these guys do it all! City bike was recommended by someone in our building. I took my bike into the store and was immediately greeted by three extremely friendly employees. I explained my situation to them and they took my bike immediately. There was no sales pressure, no double talk just plain old fashioned five star customer service.
I was contacted a couple of days later by the shop and told exactly what was wrong, and what was needed to be done. No pressure, just professionalism. I went in yesterday to get my bike and it is better now than when I bought it brand new!! The price was extremely reasonable and

I did a fitting on my road bike at City Bike. I am a fixed gear rider who is new to road biking (and gears). The staff was great and spend much time teaching me about how a road bike should fit and feel, as well as taught me about shifting. I had also brought my bike in requesting full tune up. They were honest in letting me know that one was not needed, and only charged me for the few tweaks that were required. Great service.

What a great bike shop with an awesome group of employees that are very ready to help. We rented two road bikes for three days and they were perfect. Perfect fit and perfect for the trail and road condition of Tampa. They were more than willing to work with us, at no cost, for the return time and would have given us another day had we stayed in town longer. We will go here again, for sure.

I was thinking about getting rid of my bike because it's getting worn out but took it there and it's almost like brand new! Since then I ride my bike everyday long the Riverwalk. I was using it so much my tire was low. I took it back. They put air in it. Gave me advice on how often I need to fill it. They are so knowledgeable!
I've seen them around downtown in big groups biking. I plan to join them one day. Oh and there's sometimes a dog there! Love dogs! Their logo with

Kevin, Mario, and Leo at City Bike Tampa are top-notch. I rented a Jamis Quest steel road bike for a week while staying in town for a conference. Between commuting to my Ybor area Airbnb and taking longer morning rides to areas Leo suggested like Davis Island, Bayshore, and the Causeway path, I got more exercise, saw more of the city, and generally had a more enjoyable time traveling for this conference than any I've attended before. They hooked it up with a chain lock and helmet included so leaving it out at the convention center wasn't a worry. They even installed my pedals and lights

I just happened upon City Bike last Sunday morning after getting 2 flat tires on 2 separate bikes! I loaded them on my car and dropped them both off on my way to Orlando. The staff at City bike is so friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming no matter what you stop by for.

Purchased both of my Bianchi's here. I've had my metropoli for over 3 years and the tank is still like new. The staff here is knowledgable, friendly and the shopping experience is unique.
